Our experience with Stacks has always been very positive. From our initial involvement to the contract for yearly inspection of our furnace and AC unit, the technicians have always been on time, well informed, polite, and very well able to discuss technical details with us and propose reasonable and economical resolutions.
Our most recent experience was with Zack and Vaughn. Both were able to quickly diagnose an issue with our A/C unit and provide both a short term and long term recommendation.
We highly recommend using Stack for an in-home HVAC needs.
They completely lack communication between their office staff, the manager, and the guys doing the work, and worst of all don't communicate with their customers. It's extremely disrespectful and I regret going with Stack for my electrical work.
When upgrading my electrical I went with Stack because they seemed to have good reviews and they had a team of electricians, so they'd be able to send 2 guys and get the work done faster. If only that had been true... First, they canceled on me the day before they were supposed to come after I'd taken off work for that day and held that day open for weeks. When they finally did send someone the next week, he showed up an hour late. They only sent one person. The electrician hadn't even been told the extent of the work he was supposed to do. The secretary at Stack thought he could get it done in one day (you don't even have to know much about electrical work to know it would be impossible for one person to get done that number of tasks). When the guy only does part of the work, he can't come back for another week. He had to disconnect the stove to do some of the work, so I went a week without a stove. When he came back, he wasn't even able to do all the work himself and I had to drill in the panel while he held it (I guess I should ask for compensation for that, shouldn't I). He didn't get to the stove. Another week later when they schedule the next date, they don't show up and don't even tell me...I'm still waiting on the stove, it's been 2 weeks. Maybe they can compensate me for the hotplate I finally bought.
Brian Stack was very responsive to our call on a Saturday morning. One of his employees was at our house the previous week and fixed an issue with our air conditioning. It then stopped working again over the weekend. He sent someone out within a couple hours. Brian was very understanding of the fact that they were just there and took care of us very professionally.
We have used Stack for years. They installed our new furnace about 8 years ago, then they installed an AC unit and an air filtration unit. We purchased their maintenance plan so we see a person twice a year to get check ups on our units. They have always been responsive and professional. I highly recommend this company.
I saw their truck at at least 4 different neighbors and I asked and all 4 said positive things. We needed maintenance on our AC so I made an appt simple process and very early . Chris and Iiana came . They checked outside blower or fan, checked filter , checked the mechanism inside , Chris said that I needed a voltage capacitor . I replaced but it did cost about $200. Yes I know it can be bought on Amazon for $10 but you never know what your getting , I thought about the warranty? I thought having to pay for someone to install it . Going back to the techs Chris and Iiana. Professional , knowledgeable , prompt , respectful, no sales pressure . THEY WERE GREAT AND ARE ASSETS TO STACK, they deserve a raise and promotional . Would I use Stack again probably yes . Roger cam back November quick , professional and only recommended what was needed
Stack was wonderful. They literally saved us! My parents are 85 years old and their furnace went out on the coldest day of the year. The system needed to be replaced. They were out the next day at 7am to install a new unit. They were professional and knowledgeable. Thank you, Stack Heating. I will recommend you to everyone I know.
Stack Heating and Air was at my home for an annual AC tuneup. From my past experience with Stack, they hire skilled technicians that are professional and respectful of our home. Steve was no exception. He was thorough in explaining questions I had, and made certain the AC system was operating at peak performance. Steve’s attention to detail and quality workmanship is why I’ll continue to call upon Stack Heating and Air. Thank You.
I just had Roger at my home. He called to let me know he was on his way and arrived as promised. Upon arrival he confirmed why he was here and explained the process to me. He went on to describe their Planned Maintenance Agreement plan to me, which saved me money (15%) once I signed up. I also received a call yesterday from the office to remind me of my appointment which was appreciated. The only recommendation that I would suggest would be to provide the techs with a better process to take a credit card payment. Perhaps something like Square or Payzer instead of the tech having to type out the entire credit card #. Overall I am very happy with Stack and will be recommending them to family and friends for all of their HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical needs. I will be asking for Roger on all future HVAC calls.

He was very thorough, going above and beyond , to make sure he answered all our questions. He was also extremely helpful with his advice!!!
The Stack technician was on time and was very thorough in servicing the HVAC units both inside and outside. The weather was particularly horrible (heavy rain) during his visit but he still went through all outside services. After he was finished he detailed everything he did and gave me a report on items I should be aware of.
