Our experiences with Home Heating and Joe Ludwig have always been great. We used Home Heating back in 2005 when we built our home, they helped us replace our central air unit in 2021 and now did more work for us in our basement as we are adding a new bathroom and finishing off two bedrooms. We will only use Home Heating. They’ve given us absolutely no reason to think otherwise.

Had home heating and plumbing out to diagnose a gas fireplace issue. The technician was unable to repair and was sent an invoice for the service call. I called with a question regarding the invoice and was transferred to the service manager. When I explained to the service manager that I didn't understand the validity of some of the charges, he became completely enraged and began yelling. He attacked my character and then stated that he would place a lien on my home. When I told him to stop raising his voice, he said he could do whatever he wanted and that I should never call the company again.

We just bought a new home and called Home Heating, Plumbing, & A/C to come service our furnace and replace the sump pump. Both the HVAC and Plumbing technicians were wonderful. They were on time, courteous, and professional. They have earned my trust and repeat business.

Ken did an excellent job setting up and installing the smart thermostat. Also, service person found wires that were chewed possibly by mice outdoors in our AC and repaired it.

I have worked with Home Heating on a number of things from new AC install, sump install, and general HVAC maintenance. The people I have worked with starting in sales are always willing to answer my questions and work with me to figure out the best solution to things. I never feel like they are selling me what they want to sell me but rather what works best for my situation. Also, the technicians, both installation and maintenance are always clean and professional.

Update: Called to get a new garbage disposal installed. While they were here I inquired about some new faucets that I was meaning to have installed as wall as one faucet that has poor pressure. They gladly installed the faucets and fixed the pressure issue while they were here (added to the cost of the garbage disposal of course). I was impressed they took time out of their day to do this even though it hadn't been discussed initially.

They install my HVAC 5 years ago, so I called them this spring when my AC had issues. They said it would be 2 weeks unless I approved overtime. Since it would save me from burning PTO, I agreed. Since they install the system, I assumed that they would bring some replacement parts. I should not have assume. It took 3 service calls on 3 different days to fix it. When I finally got the bill it seem they charged me overtime rates and milage for all 3 visits. I guess I should find someone else the next time.

The technician was very respectful of all the property in the house. My questions were answered and explained. The workmanship was very good with no need for further clean-up when the project was completed. The estimate for the work done was very much in line with the total cost.

We realized late one Sunday afternoon that we had no hot water. We called the next morning at 8AM and had a service technician at our home by 9:30AM. The technician replace the thermocoupler, cleaned the pilot light and burning and we had hot water by 11AM. We were very happy with the fast service and quality work.

I wasn't sure if our AC unit was running correctly. So I had Home htg come out and check it out. I thought that it might need a new fan motor as i didn't see the fan running. The technician checked out everything and confirmed it had a sensor that once the AC warmed up allowed the fan to kick. Everything was working correctly despite that fact our AC unit is 34 years old. The Technician was on time, very knowledgeable, and professional.

We have used Home Heating for annual maintenance on our HVAC system over the years and have always been pleased with their excellent work. Their technicians are responsive, courteous and knowledgeable. Trusted service - highly recommend!
