My HVAC unit was doing fine, but my crawl space duct work was a disaster. As part of a multi-year house updating plan, I decided it was time to consider replacing the duct/venting work and possibly replace my 12 year old dual electric/gas HVAC system.

I interviewed 3 companies and obtained two separate quotes from each company.

1st quote was for removal of old duct work and install of new duct work.

2nd quote was for a complete new system implementation, removal of old duct work, and installation of new duct work.

Huneycutt HVAC sent Josh over to complete an assessment and provide me with a quote. Huneycutt was the only company that recommended changes to how the duct work was laid out to prevent similar issues that I was having with the original setup. Josh was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

Once I accepted the quote, I was immediately provided installation date options. Prior to the scheduled install day, I received a reminder. On the day of installation, we reviewed again the implementation plan that was planned out for 2 days. The duct work removal and replacement on day 1 and the new system installation & new thermostat installed on day 2. Josh kept me updated on progress, and every team member I interacted with was kind and helpful.

When the crew was done on the last day, there was zero debris or trash left in my yard. I am so glad I selected Huneycutt HVAC to complete this work. I highly recommend!

Update: Be sure to stay up to date with the Duke Energy Rebate requirements, they changed from 15 SEER to 16 SEER on 01/01/2023. Knowing this information will avoid your rebate being kicked back for being invalid.

Very happy with the service. I work 8:00 - 5:00 and they were able to work around my schedule. Shane came out at 6:00 PM to assess what I had to quote me a new system and Byron came out with him to get my 20 year old system working until I could get a new system installed. Byron stayed well past 8:00 PM getting it back up and working better than has worked in years! Looking forward to working with them very soon to install a brand new HVAC system.

Andy came out to scope and design my project a number of times and we walked through a number of options and iterations. His designs were well reasoned and he reached out to the equipment vendor when he didn't have an answer to my admittedly very detailed questions.
The day for the mini split ductless install came and completed.

The work was performed perfectly and the subsequent inspection went smoothly and easily.

The minisplit HVAC is working beautifully and I am wondering why I waited for this quality solution.
Andy and his team did a terrific job.

The only problems were in getting a quote that reflected the correct equipment, a receipt for the full payment at the end, and a copy of the warranty.
He jokingly called me OCD yet detail matters to many of us and he came through.
I attribute the few problems perhaps front office inexperience but we got through all that with a bit of effort.

After spending a considerable amount on trying to repair my unit, when I finally called for a quote on a new install, since they knew my unit pretty well, I got no call backs. I always paid what was asked and never tried to negotiate, so this was very strange. It forced me to call another company, who I think are the best in Union County... Thank God I never got that call back!

Our Tech Garrett was great. He was very professional and made sure our air unit was running and everything was working correctly. He even cleaned the unit. Plus showed us how to save money on our overall yearly services. I highly recommend them to anyone I know.

Wow!!! What wonderful service! Our h&a went out this week for first time ever and my husband & I did not even know where to began looking for service. Well, Huneycutt's was our third attempt at getting someone to listen to our rambling and they agreed to come out and have a look.
