This company ROCKS. I called in late in the evening because my air nor my heat were working. Garrett came within an hour, accessed it, told me everything he was doing and why, then came to me with an evaluation and the options. It's been a week and everything is still working well. Thanks Garrett!! Very genuine, honest, and professional. I definitely recommend this company.

While I did not end up purchasing my furnace from Huneycutt, I was so impressed with the gentleman, Lawrence Jones, that came to quote my unit; I felt it necessary to leave this review. Firstly, Lawrence showed up 15 minutes early to our appointment which was a nice surprise since another quote was 30 minutes late that day. Lawrence was extremely professional and courteous from the moment he stepped in my home. He answered all questions I had and spent the time going over my options with me. He worked with the company to provide me with a very fair quote. Lawrence was fair, honest, and all-around a great guy. His phone never rang past the second ring before he answered, ready to answer any questions and provide assistance. In the end, I chose to purchase a unit from another company that matched the manufacturer of my existing AC unit at a similar price and that approved me for 0% financing. While Huneycutt offered financing, the rate I was approved for was 18%. While I can't speak to the quality of work that Huneycutt performs, I can absolutely speak to the professionalism, courtesy, and genuineness of Lawrence. If the quality of work is anything like the service that Lawrence provided, I'm sure it's superb.

These folks do a great job and at fair prices. I've hired them both to install new systems and repair existing systems several times and have referred them to many of my clients. I've always been very satisfied and will continue to work with them.

Great service. On time and professional. Installed a mini split for us and they beat out other quotes by over $1000. Deal in confidence.

This is in response to the owners response. I would like to move beyond this experience.
I appreciate the response. It is true I have left 8 bad reviews for exceptionally bad service and per your account 6 good review for exceptional service. Many patrons who fall in the middle I do not feel the need to review.
It is not true that I ask Andy to place a cheap thermostat in a rental unit that I intent to own for years. Following your own inspection of the unit. Did the unit not need to be replaced by you own contractors within a year and 6 months?? If you inspect a unit and it’s in such poor condition it breaks within a year and 6 months the owner should know. I own several properties so If write a positive review for a company it likely means they have worked on one of my other 12 units.
Your company just wrote me a email to apologize several days ago. How do you send an apology email then go online and try to defame the customer. This is not black mail. I have not reached out and said I wanted something to remove a review. I had a qualified contractor come by and fix the same issue I paid you over $1,600 for. It only cost $595. (For the record I have not written them a review and they were good).
When I got the apology email asking if you could send someone over I didn’t take you up on the offer. In response to your electrician comment was Eloy Dominguez not doing electrical work with your company using your license? He himself is very capable but not licensed. I was looking to move forward from this experience. You guys have my money please enjoy it. Give my best to Shelby again. It was great to work with her.

Extremely knowledgeable, professional, and honest. They service 3 properties for us and also performed the install at 1 of the commercial buildings. It is the first time that I have ever encountered an HVAC company that can actually explain issues and resolve the root of problems. Would give 6 stars if I could.

I dont think I've ever had a more complete visit and unit inspection. Garrett took his time to explain to me what my best options were without any pressure. He was very pleasant to work with. I will be calling him in the future. Great with LG units!

Called them out to check my A/C unit before summer. The tech told me my unit was 10 yrs old and there was a leak in coil. Wanted to sell a New unit, or New A coil. My unit was 10 yrs old. but had been installed for 5 yrs. Had another tech out from a different company, charged the unit 160.00 dollars. Did not detect a leak. My first experience was great. 2nd not that impressive.

Best in the business with HVAC services. They are on top of everything and can actually explain what is not working and why instead of just giving a ridiculous quote. Owner has been in industry for decades and knows the ins and outs of all things HVAC. Crew is great as well. IF you don't believe me, read the other reviews.

I don’t write many bad reviews but I think it is fair to share honest feedback. I own approx. 12 HVAC units and for the past three years huneycutt had been the company to service the units until I noticed issues with the workmanship. This review spans at least 20 different projects over a three year period. These are just my top three issues.
First the good: Shelby their front desk person is excellent. She is personable and one of the main highlights of this group.
The bad:
Feb, 2017: I first had Andy Huneycutt do an HVAC inspection on a home I was planning to purchase. I was assured the unit was in great working condition and it just needed a NEW thermostat. I was overcharged for the ‘NEW’ thermostat but didn’t mind because they need to make money too. One years after their inspection the unit stopped working and they told me the unit was really old and needed to be completely changed out. Furthermore they said the thermostat was really old and dated. I then reminded them that they were the ones to do the inspection on the unit and they were the ones that said it had been in great condition just two years prior. I also reminded them that the thermostat they were calling old was the same one they installed as a NEW thermostat and overcharged me for it.
Oct, 2018: During the change out there was water leaking from a boiler that Garrett from Huneycutt mechanical noticed. Rather than letting me know the boiler was leaking Garrett just assumed it was none of his business. Eventually the tenant notified me of the issue but I was bothered by the fact that a trained professional would notice this and not even mention it. Water damage can have severe consequences.
Jan 2018: I had a zoned unit that failed to work. After the diagnostic fee I was charged 270 for a fix to the problem. When that fix didn’t work I was charged 579.15 for a second fix that didn’t work. Then I was charged 674.60 for a third fix that temporized the problem. For a company that claims to be the best in the business it was peculiar that every time they had a solution it needed another solution. In all it cost 1,597 to temporize the problem which was the damper motor. After the unit was “fixed” I had several contractors come and tell me the damper motor should not sound the way it does. I told them I had Honeycutt look and it and they said it wasn’t an issue. In Feb 2019 the damper failed again. After paying $1,597 within a year I called huneycutt. Steve told me that it was two weeks past 1 year so they would need $69 just to look at the problem. I had to go back through phone records to show them that it had not been one year but I objected to being charged $69 for an issue they took three attempts to resolve and still had not been resolved.
In looking through the other reviews I would agree with some of them when Huneycutt mechanical was just Andy Huneycutt a small business owner providing good service. As the company has tried to expand and get more commercial they have given up the quality of the service. The review about Lawrence is true. He was a great guy to work with but even he has left the company which was a loss. They also market electrical services which means they allow an unlicensed electrician to use the Honeycutt license for a fee to say they have a licensed electrician. I will stop there but best of luck in your dealings with this company.
