Nick Orsatti did a phenomenal job explaining everything to us to where it was easy for us to understand. We thoroughly enjoyed working with Nick!

Jean and his partner did a great job and were very nice and professional. They worked very hard and didn't take any breaks during the entire time they were here.

Our plumber David Ray was excellent. We had him come for an inspection of our system and to have our hot water heater drained. He was thorough, kind to our 85 pound dog who howled at him for the majority of our stay, and he did a wonderful job. I will be using his services again in the future.

Josue gave us wonderful service when he came to replace our hot water heater. We highly recommend him and Yellow Dot Heating and Air for this service.

We were just ripped off. Our A/C maintenance person claimed our 4 year old A/C captitor was broken. We were not having any problems. It cost $332.00. The captitor is supposed to last 20 years. Our house and A/C are only 4 years old. We were long time customers but we will no longer be. That's what happens when you trust people.

We had a gas leak in the connection to our water heater. The gas company came out initially and diagnosed the problem and told us exactly what needed to be fixed and to call an HVAC company to come out to complete the repair. This was on Saturday. We called Yellow Dot that day to schedule an appointment and they were able to work us in for Monday which we were grateful for. They do charge a $50 diagnostic fee which my husband asked if we would need to pay since we already had the issue diagnosed, we just needed it repaired. The woman we spoke with to make the appointment said we would not be charged the additional fee. When the technician arrived, he seemed rather inexperienced as he had to call his office with questions a number of times to understand what he needed to do. When it came time to pay, he included the diagnostic fee in the total and my husband brought up that we were told we wouldn't need to pay that. The technician called their office again (on speaker phone) and asked about the fee. The woman on the phone said "you better charge them just to be safe" (I'm sure not realizing she was on speaker). Just to be safe??? Safe for who?? What on earth. Anyway, we will certainly not be using this company again due to the inconsistent information given as well as unprofessionalism.

Josue B. from Yellow Dot did an outstanding job. He as showed up on time, extremely courteous and professional, and got to work. Josue treated my home with respect and got the job done in a timely manner. Yellow Dot has installed a tankless water heater, repaired 2 other water heaters, fixed a plumbing issue leaking through me ceiling, and lastly installed 2 Aquor Water Systems replacing faulty outdoor water faucets. I would highly recommend Yellow Dot and you should request Josue B. to do the job.

It was a pleasure working with Brian Williams to detect the issue with our system. He was patient, professional, friendly, and provided us with a lot of useful information.

We had used Yellow Dot for over 10 years until June of 2020 and were very pleased.

In June of 2020I had Yellow Dot install a crawl space dehumidifier to replace one that had gone bad. When they installed it at that time, the employees were not prepared. I had to get my ladder, hold the unit up while they installed it and show them how to re-install the duct work on the unit. It worked for about 27 months.

On January 18, 2023 I called them to come out to check the dehumidifier as it was not pulling any water out of the crawlspace. If the unit could not be repaired, I expected them to cover a replacement under the Yellow Dot 10-year warranty and 100% satisfaction guarantee.

While the repairman checked the unit, the project manager began by saying that the unit was too small for the space (they provided the original and installed it), that the cause was a dirty filter (It had been changed in July) and that my crawlspace was not sealed, (it is sealed except for a small vent for both gas water heaters and furnace as per code). After the project manager shared his mistaken opinions, the repairman discovered that the cause was none of these but a leak in the tubing and escaped freon.

I was told that the unit as it was a sealed unit and they could rear the leak nor recharge the freon. And the only maintenance required is replacing the filter when it gets dirty.

Having said this, when I asked about the warranty, I was told that because I did not have them regularly service the unit they would not honor the warranty. Remember that the unit requires no maintenance but to replace the filter which I did regularly.

The project manager then tried to sell me on re-sealing the crawlspace and installing tankless water heaters to help the dehumidifier (which I would have to pay to replace anyway since they were not going to cover it under warranty).

I told the Project Manager that I was done with him and they could leave. And I am personally done with Yellow Dot.

Brian Williams does good work but he needs more training on customer service and interaction. He raised his voice at me about something like I'm a child and I didn't appreciate it. I'm a grown man. I responded professionally eventhough I didn't want to. Just lost my job and have a million things going through my mind. I only used the service because I needed it done asap. I didn't call this company for their services. Elite Moisture Solutions did because they blew a fuse on my HVAC unit. Word of advice for you Brian Williams, be mindful how you talk to people. You don't know what a person is going through. Be a better professional.
