Fast service. Lisa helped me find the lift, answered my questions on the different models and helped bring the lift to the counter. William was also pleasant and helpful.
The lift #81869 is the 11’ model, does not require any tools to set up and I was able to install 12’ long boards on the ceiling by myself.

I saw an item on the internet a couple days ago. I took my coupon in hand and couldn't find what I wanted. Both similar items were significantly higher than the internet price . I upgraded my model for the same price , Barbara, Donna, and the gentlemen were most helpful. I got my item with my 20 dollars off coupon on 100.

Cons:I purchase here for a lot of things. I have purchased clothing and found that quite a few of their items are not preshrunk, like is this still a thing? I washed them 3 washings and my tops became midriff tops. I am guy and this is not an option. I wanted to purchase an item, the cashier rang it up the wrong price, I told her it was a lower price. We both walk back to the display and she tore off the sign and said oh that was on sale last week. If I'm not wrong he she should have given me the markdown price but I didn't want to cause a stink about it so I just paid it. I don't think it is good business practices to cheat your customers and not follow the laws and rules of sales. They don't carry everything you need of course but they do carry quite a bit. You can find a lot of things through their catalog and order online. Some of the items are more expensive than some places so it's best to do your shopping online to see who has the best deals. I do like their sales and their coupons because it gives me a break when I have to purchase big items.

I went to N.T. this morning and asked for help getting a Carport Canopy and Lisa that works there at the Hickory Store was So Wonderful !!!! She went and got my Tent and the thing weights 50 pounds or more! And she took it out and loaded it for me!!! I couldn't load it because of a neck Injury! And she loaded it!!! I'm So Greatfull for her help!! Thank You Lisa for your Hard Work!! And Thank You Brenda for Being So Pleasently Nice ringing me up!! You guys make it so much more pleasant to shop at N.T. because I can't stand hateful Employees that doesn't like their jobs!! Will Recommend Anyone to shop at N.T. Hickory!!

This is my new favorite store, the staff are outstanding

Overall experience was fine, but when I got onto the site, I was offered $5 off my first order if I signed up to get emails. The email came shortly thereafter, but there was not link, no code to get that promised discount. When I clicked on what was in that email, it only took me to the website to shop. I had to do a chat to get the code. Too cumbersome!

The sales associate I dealt with, Lisa, was very friendly and informative. She directed me to the exact location the items I was looking for. If you go to this store, ask for her. Thank you for saving me time and the hospitality Lisa!

Went in store Sunday looking for a lawnmower tire that their website said they had in stock. Shelf for tires was empty and thought I had found the empty spot for what I was looking for. Asked the associate if they could locate it, he did but when he brought it, it was not what I needed and he recommended that I check on Monday with the shop and they could look my model up. Ok I understand he did not want to dig them all out for me to locate the very one I was looking for. Called back on Monday and spoke with the shop guy and he said I had an odd size and he would research getting them and call me back. Ok 2 days later, never heard back. Went to rural king in Morganton and they had what I was looking for on the shelf and half the price... Recommend Rural King for basically everything odd you may need and they will take you right to it with a smile.

Checked the website and drove 44 miles for a product that was supposed to be in stock at this store. 😕 Got there to find out that they've been sold out for a while and have backordered 3000 of the item and can't guarantee delivery before June. Also apologies for website not showing correct inventory. Nice going Northern Tool! 2 hours out my day and gas for absolutely nothing!
