Air Innovations is the best HVAC company I've ever dealt with. Their technicians are knowledgeable, courteous and professional. They have never tried to oversell me on anything and given me options whenever there was an issue that needed addressing. They have also made themselves available on short notice. Highly recommend in you need work done in the Triangle area.

I started smelling a strong gas smell days before Thanksgiving. I called Air Innovations, and they came out that night to check on it. They told me I needed a new unit, which was not surprising because the old one was over 20 years old. They came out to do the work on the Friday after Thanksgiving, and gave me a great price on a more energy efficient model. I am extremely happy with their customer service and work and highly recommend them!

Another very helpful visit with Air Innovations today! Travis has come to help us 2 times before, and he was extremely specific about the problem and the potential solutions. He laid out all of the options and the pros and cons for all of them. Today, Stephen came and gave the same high quality service as Travis. He explained all of the issues and also described a number of possible fixes. I highly recommend this company to anyone who wants highly professional, highly competent, and straightforward service. Travis and his team at Air Innovations are great to work with. I've been using them for five years. When my 18-year-old HVAC had a catastrophic failure mid-summer five years ago, they came out quickly and had a bigger, more efficient unit installed quickly. Besides bi-annual maintenance they provide, they have only had to come out once to make a minor adjustment to the gas ignitor. His team always arrives on time. They’re knowledgeable in their craft. They quickly identified the source of the gas smell, explained the issue in layman’s terms, created and plan and executed it. They also found evidence of a small animal living in my crawl space that would have gone unnoticed.

Both techs were personable and allowed me to engage in some small talk. It was a great experience, as I have come to expect for everyone associated with Air Innovations.

They are by far the best HVAC company I've ever worked with after 8 years of home ownership. I love supporting local small businesses whenever I can and these guys also out work and out perform the large conglomerates in our area. They truly care about their customers and want things done right. The attention to detail and up to date equipment they've invested in show their dedication. Air Innovations recently did a complete overhaul of our upstairs and downstairs HVAC systems. This included a new ductwork design (by Travis), all new ductwork, new HVAC systems up and down, air purifiers on both systems and a humidifier downstairs. It took the crew two full days (8ish to 7ish each day). Multiple things stand out about their exceptional work that compel us to share our experience and highly recommend this company to others: 1- They focused on the needs of the customer. Travis and Josh understood this was a significant investment for us, and that we wanted to get the most “bang for our buck.” Consequently, their proposal focused on what would be best for us -- not just a quick sale of the “Cadillac” system. They took considerable time evaluating our home and then explaining their plan for what would maximize the comfort but also be the best return on our investment. Their quote was very reasonable for the work they proposed in comparison to others (much better than some others) but it was ultimately their professionalism and ideas for return on investment that sealed the deal. Specifically, Travis and Josh immediately saw that the ductwork in our home (built in mid-80s) was not designed well and so the rooms were not getting the air flow needed to cool and heat them properly (or comfortably at certain times of the year). Also, the ductwork was in poor shape and much less efficient than current industry standard. While the "Cadillac" system may have helped in the short term, Travis and Josh helped us understand that addressing the duct work problems would be the best solution to (a) minimize the cost of the systems needed to comfortably heat and cool the house, (b) increase the efficiency of any system installed thereby further decreasing our utility bills, and (c) extending the life of the systems installed because they wouldn't have to work so hard to keep up. Their focus on the needs of the customer (not their own interests) stuck out like a sore thumb to us during our season of obtaining quotes. 2- The installers were exceptionally hard working and professional. We've been homeowners for 20 years so this wasn’t our first rodeo. The team that performed the work was the hardest working and most professional of any crew we’ve ever had work on our home. They were respectful, helpful, patient (we asked lots of questions) and took the time needed to do the job right. They never seemed rushed to get to the next job. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day so well that aside from seeing the significant work they’d done we would have never known they were even there. In fact, we provided lunch for them (for which they took very little time on break), and even then they cleaned up after themselves and took out the trash like it was their own home. 3 - We had no regrets writing the check. This is where the rubber really meets the road for us. We’ve had multiple experiences over the years where we had work done on our home (sometimes at significant expense) and felt like we didn’t get our money’s worth or that the job could have been done better with much less frustration. In those instances, we just accepted that it’s hard to find good people to do good work for a reasonable price these days. Thankfully, Travis, Josh and their team demonstrated to us that’s not always true. The service that Travis and his team provided was nothing but exceptional from start to finish. This was the biggest expense we’ve ever had for work on our house, but writing the check was much less painful because we were treated honestly and fairly, and we received excellent work by people who are conscientious about their work and who want to satisfy and serve the customer well. Thank you Travis, Josh, Eddie, Aaron, Andrew and Hunter. Great work guys!

Today Aaron and Eddie replaced our HVAC systems. I cannot find enough good words to say what an excellent, professional, caring, and personable job they did! I admire them! If you EVER need HVAC repairs or replacement call Air Innovations! They are top notch.
