Be very concerned for your neighbors if you use this company. Our neighbor used them for blown-in insulation. Because of the way her house sits, they needed to use our driveway for ladders. The first day they came, they left a huge mess on her sidewalk and on our driveway. When we were notified that Wise was coming back a couple of weeks later, I asked what was going to be done to clean up our driveway. I was told the rain would "wash it away." I pointed out that we had had a lot of heavy rain already and it still was a mess.

The day of Wise's return to finish the neighbor's insulation, I personally witnessed one of the workers sweeping sawdust onto our driveway, and we had sawdust and additional insulation on our driveway. When questioned by my husband, he was told it was "easier to cleanup" that way. We were left with both insulation and sawdust embedded in our driveway

That is total disrespect for my property. They are supposedly to come back and clean it up "when the weather permits." I hold out little hope, especially since they left without any contact information for us.This is a new driveway that was newly sealed in the fall.

Because of Wise's actions, we will not allow any of our neighbor's workers to use our driveway for anything ever again.

We had the opportunity to work with Wise Home a few months back as we needed to improve our insulation on our 1950’s home. When we had moved in we were experiencing huge ice dams that ran from our roof to our sidewalk.

After getting an assessment, we had a lot of back and forths with Kirk and his team and found the right solution for our home. They were extremely helpful through the entire process.

Jamie and his crew came through for the actual insulation process, kept us up to date and informed of every step. We are pretty picky, but their attention to detail and care through the application was top notch. Greatly appreciated their work and the level of communication they brought to the project.

Can honestly say we now have some of the best insulation in our neighborhood judging from the snow and melting patterns of other homes. We no longer have any ice damming issues and couldn’t have been happier with the job that they did.

Definitely a five star rating for home wise energy service. I had the energy efficient installation performed on my home.. the installers were efficient and experienced.
My attic installers, Rico and Eric performed an outstanding job. I had a technical issue of which they remedied with professionalism and excellent resolve.. if you’re thinking of insulating your home, I would definite recommend home wise energy

We had a new home built in 2020 that the builder definitely cut some corners on. I will give the builder the benefit of the doubt and say that everything was done to code but certainly left a lot to be desired.

We called Wise when we couldn't get our 2nd floor nursery to 70 degrees during the winter without it being 76+ degrees on the first floor and they found two major problems.

1. The attic had zero air sealing. Cold air from the attic was seeping in around light fixtures and down the interior walls and made our second floor quite cold. Wise removed the existing insulation, air sealed, and blew in upgraded cellulose insulation to a higher R-59.

2. We have areas on the second floor that overhang the first floor by 1-2 feet. This meant the floor along the outside wall had zero insulation underneath except for the dinky pieces of fiberglass that were shoved in there and doing nothing. The floor temperature along that area was in the mid-40s during the winter. Wise removed the bottom layer OSB and filled the area with spray foam.

The day Wise finished, the difference was amazing. My entire two-story home was within 1 degree difference, there was no noticeable difference between the two stories, and the temperature stays consistent throughout the day.

Lastly, Wise was to come back to repeat a blower door test but reached out and offered to postpone due to poor air quality at the time, knowing that we had a baby and blowing in outside air would be unsafe.

We had attic insulated by Wise Home Energy. One of the workers fell through the ceiling in the middle of our living room before the holidays. The house was an absolute MESS from all the insulation and dust. They put up a piece of sheet rock, rough taped it, picked up the bulky debris from the fall, and BAILED! I was the lucky one to really clean it up after they left. There was dust everywhere! They broke a couple things that they never told me about from the fall as well. After (patiently) getting the run around for just about 3 months they finally fixed the ceiling by month 4. I was fortunate enough to get a whopping $200 off which was nothing compared to the time I had invested in this. They clearly didn’t realize the mess they made nor cared about it. Found out that one of their employees fell through another customers ceiling some weeks later. I won’t do business with them again because they cost me time, money, and stress. Hopefully they change the way they handle screw ups like this……..

Wise Home Energy recently installed a hot water heater and heat pump in my home. Everyone I met with from Mike the Consultant to the installers were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They explained the process every step of the way. I highly recommend them for any energy efficient updates or home remodeling project!

Wise home energy did a heat audit and insulation for my home. The team was awesome. Very respectful, through and great guys. They respected my home as I was not always home while work was performed. Highly recommend this team. Great work!!!!

Wise Home Energy technicians Tom and Dan braved the torrid rain to install our Ductless heater which is a fantastic supplement to the family room. Awesome experience from start to finish. Needed to replace furnace and ac - Ryan from Wise provided a number of options, taking time to clearly explain each so I understood and could comfortably make my decision. I settled upon a heat pump and have zero regrets. I was extremely impressed with the installation crew and office support getting my rebates taken care of. I highly recommend Wise to anyone in need of home heating/cooling guidance and support.

Wise Home Energy just finished a significant home upgrade project for me — replacing an ancient furnace and hot water heater with high efficiency electric heat pumps, insulating the entire home, upgrading the electric service to 200A, and installing a vent fan in the upstairs bathroom. I am extremely pleased with the speed of the work and how much more comfortable my home is. Everyone I interacted with at Wise from the engineer who determined the scope of work, Kirk, to the office staff who handled scheduling to the crews completing the work (foreman Jamie) were extremely knowledgeable professionals. I would strongly recommend them for significant home improvement projects and they would be my first phone call for anything HVAC related in the future.
