Dan and his crew are the real deal when it comes to HVAC. AMS had a thorough understanding of my steam radiator heating system and the issues surrounding it. They changed six 100 year old valves on various radiators. I am now a believer in Ambrose Mechanical Services for all our HVAC needs. You won't be disappointed. They are on time, courteous, tidy and thorough.

I had Dan Ambrose install a furnace and perform some service for me. I was very pleased with the quality of his work and even more importantly his honesty. As an Engineer myself, I am very particular in the quality of work being performed and the integrity of the person performing that work. My observation was that Dan Ambrose along with his team are skilled in their trade, understand the technology they’re dealing with and most important are gentlemen with old fashion values. Finally, the cost of their work was very reasonable and I now only look to Dan for all my heating and cooling needs.

When I have good service from anyone I deal with I like to past on to others so they may benefit as I have. When I have bad service I do the same. But more so. Qualified and knowledgeable Technicians giving me, the consumer, the confidence of having the work done professionally and right. The advice of what I needed to have done, what I did not need done and what I should do in the future as well as advise on what and how to maintain my HVAC system operating properly. I have, on 2 occasions, required fast service from Ambrose Mechanical for busted water heaters. The first time was 19 years ago, a month after moving into our house. I had a new water heater installed before the end of the day - critical with a 3 month old in the house. The second time was a few months ago when that same 19 year old water heater stopped heating water. I had a new 50 gallon water heater installed before the end of the day - critical with a 19 year old and 3 younger siblings in the house. Dan and Matt Ambrose are fantastic.

Ambrose Mechanical provides all my residential HVAC needs in our 85-year old home in Irondequoit. The flash boiler/radiant heating system keeps our home warm and cozy all winter, and the central AC system keeps the home fresh and pleasant in the summer. Dan, his son Matt, and his senior technician Tony are all technically competent, efficient, and courteous. As a chemical engineer, I can recognize technical talent when I see it. I met these folks when they were installing a whole house A/C system in my daughter's 1950s built home. Their workmanship, knowledge, professionalism, and eagerness to satisfy is impressive. And they're just plain nice.
I've since had them in my home to fix a wonky Nest thermostat, and just signed a maintenance agreement. When it comes time to upgrade my HVAC systems, I won't look further than Ambrose.
