Service tech was very thorough and professional. We have been a Halco customer for about seven years now for heating and plumbing and always have had positive experience with their service techs.

I was referred to Halco via Nest, I was having a problem with the heat not coming on on very cold days. When they arrived the technician introduced himself and quickly got to work. Within minutes he figured out the issue and fixed it. Pete was great, very personable and knowledgeable. Thanks for doing a great job.

The men who did the state work for Helco did an excellent job! Would recommend them to anyone! Todd was also extremely knowledgeable of his job and excellent in every area of it!

Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The technician spent time explaining the new water softener system answering all my questions. I had actually dealt with Halco in a non-profit organization for several years and knew the quality of service they provide before, during and after. Would recommend them in a heartbeat.

He showed up right on time and he was very friendly and told us our options. He explained what would happen and ran some tests to see if we had any draft in the house - which we did. He even played a bit with my 3 years old - giving him high fives and letting him hook up some tubes to the draft test. He was a pleasant company and professional. I highly recommend to anyone who need help improving their energy saving.

Jamie from Halco was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. It’s stressful to bring people into our houses with Covid, but he wore a mask and maintained a social distance at all times, which put me at ease.

In checking for air-quality issues from my current appliances, he found a small natural gas leak and a more significant carbon-monoxide problem, so I’m so glad he was there! At the end of the visit, he gave me the pricing of the first step—the insulation that needs to be added—and explained the relevant grant that can bring the cost down significantly. He was very well-informed about the various grant/subsidized loan/tax credit programs that will apply to other parts of the project. I’m pleased that rather than giving me a cookie-cutter plan for the heat-pump portion of the project, Jamie took a couple days to think about the best solution. I live in a historic brick house (built 1860s), so there are several quirks that Halco will have to work with.

So far my interactions with this company have been very positive, and I look forward to working with them further.
