This is a very reliable outfit where you can really get the service of real knowledgeable and experienced mechanic working on very sophisticated machines. They may not be the cheapest workers but their service is always truly professional. I chose the machine from Carrier Corporation and they live up to their name. I have been using AMHAC of Eastchester since December 7, 2000.

I have been trying to get maintenance and repair for HVAC units for a doctor’s office for the past two years. I finally called AMHAC as a recommendation and was able to schedule a maintenance appointment within a week. Joe Ortiz was our tech and absolutely incredible; he evaluated multiple units, cleaned and repaired everything, and even taught staff how to use the equipment. He went over every detail of the work with me and gave future recommendations, including how to extend the life of our older unit and how to save money in the future by having filters available. He was polite, diligent, and absolutely fantastic. Will be a future customer if this is the level of quality service AMHAC continues to provide.

He is reliable and easy to work with, which is why we keep coming back to collaborate with him. Marc is a great problem-solver and offers ideas whenever we run into HVAC issues.

I have used AMHAC for 3+ years and they have always been professional, responsive (had 1 emergency call) and clear on billing (no surprise charges is always important). The employees are always polite and clean up after themselves. If you need heat or A/C service I highly recommend them.

AMHAC was the best. I recently came home to no heat or hot water. When I called them they had a tech at my house in under 2 hours. The problem was diagnosed and a part was ordered in about an hour. Since it was after hours they were back first thing the next morning and made the necessary repairs. Problem solved!!! What makes this so good is that I have an instant hot water heater that none of my local companies will work on and was always in a scramble to find someone when there was an issue. Now I have a company that is reliable that I can trust !! I got an affordable service contract for not just the heat and hot water system but the central air as well. I am so happy with their service.

Joe and Kevin came to identify an AC issue which was very complex and they expertly and quickly assessed the situation, identified the problem and fixed it. They were friendly, professional and knew exactly what they were doing. I would definitely work with them again.

I lost heat from our "mini-boiler" earlier today, which serves about 1/3 of our home. There is a pretty significant snow storm scheduled for New York today, which I feared would shut down service calls. Janet was able to send over a team, which is greatly appreciated without full heat in winter. Luis the lead technician was especially good-there were three problems (pilot light, leaky gasket, and temperamental mercury thermostat). He was able to fix all three issues, and provided a clear and understandable explanation of what needed to be done. A very good result!

Very pleased with AMHAC! We replaced two HVAC systems during our house renovation. Pat was very helpful through the entire process, from picking the right furnaces and condensers (Carrier) to designing how to redirect some ductwork throughout the house. The install team was very responsible, professional and cooperative during the project. I highly recommend AMHAC and I plan to use them for maintenance in the future.

I have a service contract with AMHAC and called for service Tuesday night. Janet (who is amazing) in their client service department had Alvaro here before 12 noon the next day. He was courteous, patient and got to the root of the problem quickly and repaired the problem. He is a great technician and has a great way about him. I would recommend AMHAC and Alvaro to anyone who has a simple and/or complex heating or cooling system. A+ service is all they know.
