    Kevin was the Tech sent to repair my AO Smith water heater. All in all, this was a Seamless experience from the time I called till resolution of my problem. Kevin arrived ahead of appointment time, was very pleasant, diagnosed and fixed the problem and made sure everything worked before he left.
    I will definitely recommend their services and will not hesitate to use them again, if needed.

    We have a Baxi Luna 3 Comfort on demand water heater which was in our home when we purchased it back in 2016. Problem...hot water but NO HEAT. After many failed attempts to find someone who could help us get the heat working, we finally got lucky. We were referred to Marc the owner of Authorized Heating (Brooklyn) by his good friend Phil. Phil is the owner of Phil’s Air Conditioning & Heating Corp. By the way, Phil’s business is located on Staten Island which is where our home is. I left a message on the AH machine on Friday evening, because everyone knows things always happen on the weekend. But enough... I called and spoke to Marc (AH) at 8:05 Monday morning. He was on the phone with another customer but he called me right back. Marc immediately knew who I was (his friend had texted him). Marc told me that he was familiar with our unit (no worries) and explained the service call charges. I asked when they could come to look at the unit and he said this morning before noon. That said, David (technician) was at our home a little after 10. He checked the thermostat first thing, no problem there. The problem was a faulty electrical connection. He fixed the connection and serviced the unit (box). But they did not leave immediately, David and his assistant stayed to be sure that the heat came up and that the water was up to temperature. Thanks to Authorized Heating and their knowledgeable technicians we now have a warm toasty home.

    With the cold weather that we just had, I noticed that my heat was not working and that the motor on the furnace was running. My cousin recommended that I call Authorized Heating. I am so glad that I did!
    The furnace was from 1960 and I was positive that I was going to be told that I should replace it. I was very wrong !
    Kevin, a personable young man, came to take a look. My thought, this furnace is older than he is and he is not going to be familiar with it. Again, I was wrong! He was not only very adept at fixing it but did it in a timely manner! He takes pride in his work and really knew what he was doing.
    I most certainly will call this company again and will highly recommend it to friends who have a problem with their heat.

    Marc and team were terrific! I called them in the morning with an emergency and they finished the job that day. They came on schedule and effectively communicated everything that was happening. I highly recommend them.

    Terrible service. In the middle of winter, when it was 14 degrees outside the technician walked out saying he had to get a part to fix the heating system. After several phone calls the next few days at last the receptionist informed that he has ordered the part online and it may take a week or more. I informed them that I can get the part for them locally but they did not want to hear that. I was able to get the part locally and fixed the unit myself. How can these people be so irresponsible when they saw the house had two infant children and it was only 14 degrees outside, Unbelievable. Stay away from this company if you can.

    My restaurant's water heater broke down and was under warranty. The water heater company gave us Authorized Heating Inc # to come look at the water heater. They service technician came to the restaurant but said he could not fit into the space to inspect the front of the heater (he was a big guy). We paid another guy to turn the water heater around so that it can be properly inspected. The same service tech then came the 2nd time to inspect the water heater, but then said there was a hole in an air pipe near the water heater (the air pipe had nothing to do with the hot water heater, it was a fan exhaust pipe), and he said it was too dangerous to inspect. Just full of excuses, and claimed the next time he is coming, he will charge us $300. The water heater manufacturer apologized and gave us a referral for a different service company.

    HAd a really positive experience dealing with these guys. Didn't take long to to troubleshoot why my water wasn't heating up right seeing that I had my tank replace 2 years ago. Changed a few settings and swapped out a small piece and I was back in biz.

    They didn't charge me for the part either only the service fee which I thought was pretty cool.

    When hot water becomes cold, so do your emotions. I was hopeless and not sure on who to call because of the fact that there is so many companies. The truth is that true friends are made in difficult times. I called and spoke to Marc and addressed my issue. He was focused on what was best for me. Within 15min his son Kevin called (very professional and capable) and within the hour I had hot water again. A++ service and response, their bill was half of what the other companies quoted me.
