Sun City Plumbing & Heating

We have used Sun City regularly since they installed out new AC a few years back. The last couple times have been less as impressive as they had been previously.

When I had my heat serviced prior to winter, I had to reach back out because my unit was making an alarming sound. It turned out the Service Tech forgot to turn our gas back on prior to leaving.

Yesterday, my entire home began to smell like burnt plastic and there was water leaking onto the filter to the point that the filter was soaking wet. The on call guy said we would hear something this morning and something will be able to make it out today. I did not hear anything this morning. I reached out around 1:00pm to inquire about the situation, all the answering service told me was to call back in 20 minutes. I asked if I should call the same number, she said yes. Before I could ask another question she had hung up the phone without saying another word. Seemed pretty unprofessional but I will call back hoping to have some answers or at least get my unit looked at.

I usually have not had an issue with them, but the last couple times have kind of felt like pulling teeth to get help.

I had an issue with the drain pipe in the kitchen of my 60 year old house. A couple different plumbers showed up before Sun City. They would snake it for 30 mins then call it a day. I would pay the money only for my drain to get clogged again within a couple days, then the other companies would ghost me or slap me with a ridiculous quote for thousands of dollars. Sun City totally took care of me. They were the most professional and experienced plumbers I've ever hired. Daniel and Josh spent hours snaking and flushing the drain pipes instead of just guessing that it was a collapsed pipe. I definitely recommend them to anyone that need a good experienced plumber.

Got the air conditioning up and running in decent time. However, when I went to pay the $250, I was charged $265, I paid $270 (thinking this must have included tax etc.) and for the guy to have an extra $5 to have lunch on me, well I get the e-mail receipt showing $247.75, paid $247.75; in all I was ripped off $22.25 w/ample time for the guy to give me the difference and did not. Further, the part was quoted to be about $30, but they charge $150, so charging 500% on the item to gain 400% profit, and was told by customer service that this is the competitive price, disregarding the profit percentage charged to their customer (capitalism is based on 20% to customers) Disappointed he would have ripped me off like that. I am happy with the service provided, but not the costs associated.

Jeff and Johnny arrived on time with a very positive and welcoming attitude. There were very quick in setting up the system and were very professional and friendly. It was obvious that they knew what they were doing, great job guys! I would recommend your company to anyone.

From the first phone call to the final inspection visit, Sun City provided the best customer service in every aspect of our purchase. We met with Alex to discuss our options for a new HVAC system; he answered our many questions and requests to amend quotes to include different services. The installation by Luis, Jesse and Socorro was seamless and took two days. One additional service was to close, patch and paint old up-ducts from an evaporative cooling system. We want to mention Todd specifically for his exceptional care, diligence and skill for the quality work he did. His work ethnic was second to none.

Had to have a water heater replaced and called Sun City for help. Daniel and Joel showed up on time and got straight to work. It was not an easy job but they did great and were very helpful in explaining info about the new heater. Would highly recommend!

Daniel is AMAZING and so knowledgeable! He installed my water softener and very throughly walked me through everything I needed to do to maintain it and how to use it.
I also got some ceiling work done by Todd and you can’t even tell where he replaced my ceiling! The repair is absolutely seamless if I hadn’t seen the before I’d have no idea part of the ceiling was ever replaced!

Raul and Gonzalo converted our HVAC system from swamp cooler to refridgerated air. Dave, the electrical subcontractor, handled all of the necessary electrical work. We are extremely pleased with the high quality of their work, their responsiveness to questions, workspace cleanliness and overall attitude toward the project and us. We highly recommend Sun City and this team.

Jeff and Erick installed a minisplit heating and cooling system today on our Sun porch. They were both very hardworking and knowledgeable. When they finished the job everything was cleaned up. Jeff patiently walked me through the various features and how to use them.The system is working great and I’m looking forward to year round enjoyment of the porch

We have been using Sun City Plumbing for our yearly HVAC maintenance and have been very satisfied with the bi-yearly service. Our technician Lalo was on time, sent a picture of himself before he arrived so we knew who to expect, and reviewed the service that was done once he finished.
