Al came on a freezing cold Sunday at 4 and from 4 to 7. He worked on and tried to figure out what was wrong with our 1952 oil boiler. He identified the faulty part and the next day came and replaces it. He then realized the pump was not working either and came back and replaced it that night. When he left our boiler was working the best it has ever. Al was super knowledgeable friendly and explained everything to us in a thoughtful manner. He was also very reasonably priced and his work product was outstanding. Do not hesitate to use him. We are in Tewksbury and are lucky we did and will for the future for maintenance and future projects.

We used Big Al’s Services for our new home’s heating system maintenance. Not only did he take into account the system itself but made a point to be as clean and efficient as possible while completing the service. As a new homeowner, he was very informative as to how different aspects with the heating system worked along with suggestions to keep everything working well. I plan on using Big Al’s for all future servicing and additional repairs if necessary.

I called Al’s to schedule maintenance for my oil burner. I spoke to a real person on the phone and quickly scheduled an appointment. They showed up on time and were professional throughout the cleaning. During the service, a couple of minor issues were discovered. The Tech showed me the issues and was able to fix them on the spot with supplies kept on the truck. The cost was very reasonable and my burner is running better than it has in years. From initial inquiry to final install, Al was responsive, extremely knowledgeable, and professional. He and his crew worked quickly on the install and left no trace behind that they’d been here. Will absolutely use Big Al’s again for future needs.

Al was a lifesaver!!! We own an old home in southern NH and had an issue with our boiler in the middle of winter - no heat! We were told it'd be difficult to find someone who works with this type of old piping & steam. We were referred to Al from our usual plumber and he came right over same day, fixed same day. 100% recommend!!

We had a frozen hot water pipe, he came out and looked at it late on Sunday night and heated up my pipes trying to get the water flowing. He came back Monday morning and brought an electric heater to warm my pipes running through my ceiling (they are plastic) and got the hot water flowing in no time. Very knowledgeable and professional. He was a very nice,polite guy easy to talk to and I would highly recommend him. Will be calling him if we ever have another issue and will be using him for regular boiler maintenance in the future! Thanks again Al!!

Al is great! He came in for an emergency when our furnace flooded our basement on Christmas. Reasonably priced and able to show up quickly in an emergency situation. I will always use him now for furnace cleanings and other problems we have with our system in the future!

Big Al earned a lifetime customer this week! The man was quick to respond to my request for help on my oil fired boiler, even offering some useful tips prior to even setting up an appointment. Above and beyond the typical service you would expect. Oh and VALUE, I was shocked that the repairs, additional filters he left and service was all under $200! It shows he can be trusted and is fair with pricing/work. I was expecting in the $400-500 range, as I use to do hvac (gas) and know how costly repairs can be. My boiler is up and running like a mouse in slippers and we could not be happier with Big Al! Also, my gf said he has great teeth lol! Highly recommend Big Al! Thanks Al!
