I just had my furnace serviced today. I have used this company based on a recommendation from a family member for six years now. I love that each time you call they are so polite and professional. They fix the issue. As a person in sales it’s very nice to see the professionalism in that they don’t try to up sell you. They tell you the truth. It’s like a family member coming in your home and not having to worry about bs. The tech that came out was extremely professional introduced himself and was extremely polite. I highly recommend signing up for the service plan because this is the only company I trust with my HVAC system! Job well done! Thank you and now I know my family will be warm this winter. Excellent customer service. They came out to confirm a cracked heat exchange on both my furnaces. I was at first worried because they contract for my home warranty company, but they proved to be excellent. Kevin came out and walked me through my options. He was very patient in answering my questions and waiting while I tended to my children at the same time. (BTW he spends his spare time helping the not as fortunate around the world). Called aireserve for the first time for AC maintenance. Office lady Melissa was able to schedule an immediate appointment and very helpful. Technician Paul was very thorough and even did a follow up to make sure all was working well. Loved the excellent service I received from everyone!
When I got my house the seller provided a 2-10 home warranty. Under that warranty Air Serv was the company that did the work of replacing my furnace. Since then I have used different company for my plumbing. Jump ahead 9 years I called the familiar company that has done my plumbing for my down furnace as they do HVAC as well. After they provided me astronomical pricing that would have cause my wallet to be hurtin and suggested I even spend more on a replacement, I called Air Serv for a second opinion. They came out quickly assessed the problem quickly, charged me considerably less than the competitor and gave me an education of what I can do differently that would help prevent the issue again in the future. The fix turned out to be rather simple and the tech was honest where the competitor obviously was not. This experience will have me calling them in the future for my HVAC needs and got me to not even consider the company I was using ever again for any need.
I was in a bad place with health issues being impacted by the summer high heat indexes. The Aire Serv folks arranged their schedule to immediately address my needs. Absolutely every single person I spoke with from my initial contact through to the installation of a new ac/heat system was knowledgeable and understanding, and my problems were resolved immediately. I am satisfied with the service and thankful for everyone's efforts on my behalf.
Today we set up our annual maintenance work for our HVAC system with Gina. She had set up a reminder (from Nov) to call us and she was right on time. She gave us the promised rate for the service and was very friendly. We now have piece-of-mind for the next year knowing that Air-Serv will be there to keep our home heated and cooled. (It is 5 degrees outside now so we are thinking of this)
Couldn’t fix my furnace problem but kept demanding money
My furnace kept turning off for two months. They could not find the problem. Kept sending the same guy out. After the third time out, he spent 4 hours at our house. His reponse was he couldn’t find anything so we would have to wait until it turned off again. Because I had home warranty, I was fine with that until Aire Serv wanted another $100. I told them I had already paid $100 and the problem was not fixed. My home warranty agreed that I did not have to pay the $100. The next day my heat turned off again. They ended up putting 5 new parts on my furnace - 4 of them did not fix the problem. The last time they were there, (two months later) they sent another guy. He demanded $100 or threatened to take the 5 parts off our furnace. I ended up paying the $100 (which I didn’t owe) just to get them out of my house. I will never let them back in.
I have the same response with the customer service as I was reading Daniel and Ryan's review. The customer service is Absolutely terrible customer service with this company. I hung up on the woman I was talking to because I was didn't want to argue anymore and she called me back! The 2 tech's that has come to my house for my AC was great. They were polite and friendly I have no problems with them at all. The 2 women I have spoken with in the office is another story. I was calling because I was questioning the quotes I was sent in an email. One of the things i was being charged for was a permit. I am being charged $180.00 for a permit fee. When I call my city clerks office I found out it was a total of $88.00. I was told they charge a standard $180.00 fee to everyone. I have heard AHS does not pay them much but they should not be trying to make up the difference they agreed to with AHS on their customers. I ask to speak with the owner. I was told he would be out of the office for a week and the outcome after talking with him would be no different. I feel this company is not honest and wondering how much more up charging they are doing on my bill. I am hoping to speak with AHS to get a different company before the AC unit gets shipped to them. Luckily it has not been installed yet. I figure if I am having this much concern before they install it I will be saving future problems down the road.
