    I apologize for this lengthy review. To paraphrase, my opinion of Scott Lee's field workers is second to none. These guys were outstanding and arguably the best that worked on our new build. My issues always involved people in the office and their lack of communication, possibly negligence. Ultimately, it was my final communication with Russ, the owner, and the fact that I still don't have the system that I requested or paid for, that I won't use Scott Lee in the future.

    We used Scott Lee for a complete HVAC replacement in our last home through their Costco rebate program, and it was an absolute positive experience. Everything ran smoothly, from Kevin M. working with us to spec the system, to the quality of install. I was particular in selecting a Lennox Elite 2-stage Heat Pump, and it was incredibly efficient. I loved that in stage 1 we could barely hear the fan run and it rarely needed stage 2 (full capacity) to keep up.
    Recently, when it came time to build our forever home, I was confident in choosing Scott Lee again. This time it went much differently. I was connected with Bob Hart to bid and spec the system. I was adamant that we copy the Elite 2 Stage system from our last home that worked so well. The first disappointment was that I could not benefit from the Costco program, as it was excluded from new construction. This would have been a few thousand in savings, but I can get past it. Planning the system was a complex process and Bob was slow to make changes or respond, every interaction seemed to be a bit of a nuisance. Since COVID every business seems to be running behind, and I wasn't in a rush at this point, no problem. The install process starts, Fred and his crew install all of the ductwork, they were spectacular. Of all the contractors that worked on our home, I think these guys take the cake for quality of work and general attitude/demeanor. They come back and install both HVAC systems, ERV, Humidifiers.
    The new system was loud, air blasting from vents, turn up the TV loud. It did not match our previous 2 Stage system and Scott Lee was called out to slow the blower speed for stage 1 heating/cooling. It was at this time, through their service technician, that I was told the Elite condensing unit installed had only 1 stage. I called and explained the situation to Bob, again "I'll look into it" meant maybe next year or not at all. I was patient but called back weeks later asking for someone other than Bob. I was placed in contact with Russ, the owner of Scott Lee. Russ scheduled replacement of the condensing unit for the one that I actually chose and paid for. A different crew comes and replaces the unit, they were also spectacular. I notice that the unit is a 2 Stage MERIT, a downgrade from the Elite series, and again not what I paid for. I called Russ to explain it was still incorrect. I was told that Lennox no longer makes the Elite 2-Stage, as it went to Variable Speed, so I was downgraded to the Merit 2 Stage. I was never given an option, nor was it communicated to me that the unit I paid for wasn't available. Russ made an executive decision to downgrade it to Merit. Our conversation on the phone went downhill quickly, with utter lack of accountability or remorse. I was told most people wouldn’t care if it were Merit or Elite, and that I should be satisfied regardless. Call me crazy, but I prefer to have the system that I agreed to and paid for. The conversation was going nowhere, and another replacement was not offered nor seemed practical. I was frustrated and ready to be done with it all. Russ said he would refund the difference between the unit that I approved and the unit that I ended up with. The check came for $744, which I assure you is their cost difference on the unit and not the upgrade cost to customer, but I was after the system that I paid for, not a refund. Everyone makes mistakes, but the way you handle those mistakes is what truly counts. The lack of integrity shown by Russ and the way this situation was handled is the reason I’ll likely look elsewhere for HVAC needs in the future.

    Scott Lee installed new furnace and AC unit. Kevin Mulholland did a great job in helping us select a new system. He answered additional questions I had after the initial call. The installation crew were great. They put carpet runners down and totally cleaned up after installation. Before they left they instructed us on how to operate new system. The new system is quieter than the 19 year old unit they replaced. Happy Customer!

    Shawn came right out and gave me a reasonable bid. He explained everything. He had to explain some things twice because I’m a homeowner rather than a professional, HVAC person, but he did that willingly. The team John and Blake came out and did a great job and even programmed my thermostat for me.

    Parts department had the part we couldn’t find in-stock anywhere else. Everyone was super friendly when we picked it up. They also offered some great advice for cleaning the interior of the furnace. An excellent resource for any landlord or investor!

    Had a new hvac heat pump system installed. The crew was friendly, fast and clean. The system is so much quieter than our 15 year old one inside and out.

    We used Scott-Lee and were very happy with their service. The technician that did the work on our heating system was on time, professional and fixed the issue. We signed a contract to have them come out in the spring for regular maintenance on our a/c unit. I forgot to request the same technician. We will use this company again, but I definitely preferred the work of the first technician over the second. I recommend this company.

    This company came to our home and finished the work within 30 minutes. When we got the bill it was an outrageous price for that short amount of time they were their. We called and they said they would check their GPS, they ended up coming back and saying we were right and would send us a new bill. When we received the new bill we called and asked about the pricing again (outrageous for 30 minutes of work). They said they gave us 50% off because one the guys on the job was not supposed to be driving the truck.. they can’t get there story straight.
