Aaron’s is the best! Easy to work with and went above and beyond to get my AC and furnace installed in timely fashion. They also worked with my insurance to help file a claim. Bonus points for being great with my pets too!
I called this company because they have great reviews. I sent them to my 62 year old disabled mothers home that has absolutely no heat (she still has no heat). He was rude to her and said he doesn't work on trailers. Told her it'd be $14k to fix. Mind you he never once called and told me this. I ended up paying the $75 show up fee for absolutely nothing. The guy didn't do anything. What a joke. Gave her a number to a different guy who didn't answer. If the old jerk didn't want to work on it why charge me the fee and then give her another guys number? Totally unprofessional and worthless. Oh did I mention she still doesn't have heat? I was going to pay to get her a new system. The $14k price he quoted her is a freaking joke and just soooooooo unprofessional and just rude. Guarantee the old jerk wouldn't have been rude if she had a husband or if I'd been there. I called because I thought this was a trustworthy company. Obviously I was wrong.
Aaron's was stellar. Great communication, friendly and timely services have been the highlight of my experience. The guys are always quick and efficient and the pricing matches the work provided! The staff really knows their stuff and I'll continue to call them for future services too!!
I called on short notice with a leaking hot water tank. They checked to see if a technician was available, he was and scheduled me in that afternoon. I received both text messages and a call from the tech. He resolved the issue in a timely manner and made me aware they perform heating & cooling. I've already requested and A/C service with spring coming up and replacement of an exterior faucet. Great service, highly recommend.
Scheduling an appointment and having the pro come out was great! However, they are not upfront about pricing. I was told it would be $75 over the phone and then after the service was done I was charged something way different. In addition, when I called to make an appointment I was assured that it would not be charged extra if it was a simple fix, which it was. No tools were even used during the visit. All the pro did was properly close the door to the furnace. The visit did not even last longer than 30 minutes. Manager called me and was rude over the phone. Not sure why he even bothered to give me a call back if he wasn't going to do anything about the discrepancy behind the pricing. I could've gone with Hometown Heroes Heating and cooling who were going to charge me $85, but I decided to go here instead because it was a cheaper when I was led to believe it was only going to be $75. My mistake, I will be seeking services else where, and I encourage you all to do the same.
Worst service company I have ever dealt with even after dealing with many from my days in construction. We rented a property in Overland Park. Middle of July 2021 AC just stopped cooling completely. It was 90+ in the house. They come out a WEEK later on instruction from our landlord’s mgmt company because that’s the earliest they could. After many hours the tech and assistant who apparently had 10 years experience couldn’t figure it out. They decided it was a coil finally. Then told me they would schedule me when they had a “new opening“ to put the coil in... 2 Full weeks go by. He comes back out, puts coil in and still doesn’t work. Then says it’s frozen over and needs to thaw it so he turns on HEAT. It was 98 in the house now. Doesn’t work. Said sorry it’s 5pm I’m off for the day they will schedule another appointment. Weeks later They bring out a tech with “30 years” experience. He can’t figure it out and says “you just need more blinds on the windows it’s probably bad insulation” and LEAVES and tells me I don’t have his experience and closes the work order with the mgmt company. Between each of the 4 visits they put us on the BACK of the schedule which makes no sense as if we were a new work order. Never had a contractor run like that. And when I questioned this, the office lady was RUDE as can be and said i wasn’t special and could wait my turn again. Worst experience we have ever had. I’ll note that the other company we called out on our own had it diagnosed and fixed within the week after this. And he came out the next day after getting the part in not on the back end of his schedule. E and R heating and cooling is the good one.
I used Aaron's services for the last two years, I will mention the good the bad and then the ugly. When I started using their service they were great on time reasonable pricing and professional, they installed vents in my house and fixed leaking pipe and I signed up for their AC/furnace preventive maintenance for the last two year. The first year they did a very good job on the maintenance they took their time and checked everything and were great at explaining things, then the bad started with the second maintenance where the owner himself had to come out and redo it because the technicians that showed up did not do anything and left caps on the compressor out. Then I decide to add ducts for the basement they gave me a reasonable price and came on time to do it, but they did very poor job and I have to get another professional to fix all the leaky ducts they installed. Now to the ugly despite the bad HVAC duct installation I already have the maintenance contract paid for the winter and during the job they burned my blower motor, while they did install a new one, the new one was loud and it seem it dose not have much power as the older one. After the blower become so annoying I decided to call and complain about it, they said we need to come and do the summer maintenance and check the blower, when they came they denied the even change the blower and said it is fine and blame it on my filter which by the way is a high quality filter and not a store regular one, then they said the AC low on gas and they I have to pay for checking leaks I said go ahead and check, and they said there is a leak and suggested to fix, or replace, and charge me $400 just for the diagnosis. They send me prices for the fix fix that were so expensive and another huge price for replacement. I went out and I got second opinion and guess what their is no leak and my AC is actually works and it registered little low on gas because it was just a cold day, and the new company even did performance test and found the AC have great temperature coming out of the vents vs. in (10-15 degrees). I regret that I trusted these guys for the last two years.
I was blown away by the great job that Aaron’s did at our home! They were professional and they explained everything to me in a way I could understand. They didn’t try to push me into have more done than what was needed. They fixed it up and it’s been working great ever since! I will recommend them to everyone I know!
