McDaniel Furnace & Sheet Metal

We moved into a renovated house two years ago with an HVAC system installed by McDaniel. We recently had another company out on a service call because the upstairs unit was not working - turned out to be a bad TXV valve. When I got the quote for the replacement (part was under warranty) it sounded way too high, so I called McDaniel. They were able to order the part, come out the next day to confirm diagnosis and make repairs. Saved us roughly $500. Office staff and technician were both knowledgeable and courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Evan and Will were so professional. They cleaned up there mess and were here early and got the job done at a very good time. Asked if you had any questions and answered them. I would recommend Evan and Will whenever I need Hvac work done. Thanks again guys.

Very happy with my service. Came home yesterday and my air conditioner was blowing warm air. I call office after hours and left voice message. I got a return call at 7:15am the following morning and service advisor was at my hour by 8:15am. Dave Warren fixed my problem in 30 mins. Extremely happy the quick response and service. thank you.

The owner of the company is terrible at interacting with customers and is extremely rude. Plus she does not care about honoring the warranty on the products they have installed. Her name is Sheila and avoid her and her company at all costs.

I wanted to provide an update since I decided to give these guys another chance because they installed the original HVAC equipment when my home was built in 2014. The recently performed service of my furnace and humidifier units was much better so I wanted to update my review. Thanks for providing a superior customer experience this time around.

I used McDaniel Furnace for my new office I built a few years ago. They sold me exactly what I needed and it works great. I’ve had them come out and do by yearly maintenance on it and it has been trouble free. The personnel that come out to service my system are always professional and clean. The staff is friendly when I call in with questions and I am always treated like a valued customer. I plan to be using McDaniel Furnace for all of my heating and cooling needs. A+

UPDATE: they have stood behind their product and continued to offer great service. I tried them at my home because my family and kids kept getting sick and they came up with a solution here is my review of that experience:
I want to thank Sheila Davis, Jeffrey Wilp, Blake McDaniel, and Dave for recommending and installing my new active pure air scrubber. mcDaniel Furnace and AC did a very professional job and even after it running for about 16 hours I’m already breathing better and the house does not have any odor to it. This thing kills germs, viruses, the flu, and then also send out particles that land on your surfaces and kills those germs as well. Kinda like killing a mosquito with a bazooka but well worth the money. Surprisingly it’s not that expensive or requires much maintenance. We had so many illnesses in the last 12 months and seems to be a good solution. If your interested look up activepure air scrubber and call McDaniel Heating and Cooling. I couldn’t be happier with the service, price, and especially the professional touch they add to customer service. Thank you for helping my family!!!

Update- The guy at McDaniel either lied or was wrong about the date our furnace warranty ended. Talked to Carrier and the warranty starts from the date you purchase a new home. Not when the builder has it installed. Even then the date McDaniel gave me means that they say the warranty began before our house had even begun being built. Weird.

Guy that answered phone was nice until I asked to purchase a gas valve for my Carrier furnace that was installed by them but only, according to him, 4 months out of warranty. I asked if they don’t sell the parts because they want the service, his response with a rude tone and said, well we are a business. I get that. I would also think that they would make money as a business selling parts at a mark up they bought at a wholesale price.

My landlords don't do computers , so I will give a rating. They came and replaced the air conditioner and furnace. They knocked it out and did a great job. I own my own company and think they will be referred by me and my company when homeownersask for envy HVAC work.

My furnace stopped working, on a cold December day. McDaniels worked me into their busy schedule. Matt was my service technician, he was amazing, he even made a trip to pick up the part needed to fix my furnace. He returned with the part and got my furnace working. If your looking for a heating and air condition company that puts customers first, I highly suggest McDaniels

I really appreciate how my problem was handled(replacing an old AV and furnace). Each person I came in contact with was knowledgeable and helpful. Considering the time of year they were quick to respond, and analyze what the problem was and possible solutions. The work crew was friendly and did a good job. I was extremely pleased with this local company.

Called and Jeff showed up the same day. Very professional from the explanation to the quote. Installed a new carrier system and the crew who installed were very good. Especially the lead person. Would definitely recomend them highly.
