Service Today Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, & Electrical

Scheduled an electrician to come out and replace fixtures and add a few outlets to garage space. The electrician arrived and was shown the space and checked the current electrical setup. I did also ask about adding on replacement of smoke detectors. The electrician was nice but after going through the house, he came back with the FULL SAFE SOLUTION to replace our electrical panel and rewire the whole house, in addition to the requested services, with a price tag of $41,000!! The original reason for the call (quoted at $8,900) was barely discussed as the electrician tried to sell us on this “investment” for our home. A second opinion came back that there is nothing wrong with our electrical panel, there is nothing wrong with our current wiring, and a quote for the work requested (minus smoke detectors) of $900.

Was also told by the scheduler when the appointment was made that the service charge would be waived with work done. All of the fixtures were purchased and at the home ready for install and we were told they would arrive with a fully stocked truck, but I don’t believe there was ever any intention to do the work same day…we didn’t even get a price quote until almost 6pm so there was no way he was trying to stay and do the work!

Have tried FIVE times over the past 2 & 1/2 weeks to call and speak to someone regarding the service charge and ridiculous quotes but have not been able to talk to anyone other than the schedulers despite being reassured that I will get a call back.

BEWARE!! Save yourself the “investment” and hire electricians that don’t work on commission or try to sell you things you don’t even need.

We are rushing to list our house on time and one of our wireless smoke alarms went out. Service Today was here to bring everything back to code and our house is being listed on time!! This is why we always go back to Service Today!!

Service today came over to give me a quote on a water heater. Their quote was $750 more than what another company charged me for a larger, more efficient model.

I have several different jobs done, All have been well done and professionally. Work area's all picked up and clean.The service rep's are very good at explaining what is being done and they are very nice. Jobs well done.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with our Service Today! team. We had a complete house re-wire that simply couldn't have been more of a challenge, but the team was professional, approachable, and provided an incredibly high level quality work. They took our questions, provided us options, and always followed through on execution.

Wouldn't imagine using another team after our experience. They were consistently communicating, always on time, and respectful of what we wanted to keep/what we would demo in the near future. They worked around our work from home needs and made sure our home is perfect for the future.

Had electrician Jake and plumber Jeff here on 2 different days- AWESOME service, great communicators, reviewed things that I didn't even ask them to do, which is great info to help protect my home. Very personable and listen well. Two of the BEST service people I've ever hired! I also had plumber Jordan here just yesterday and he also was absolutely excellent to work with! VERY satisfied with all of my interaction with this company. Highly recommend.

Overpriced! First, they charged for someone to come and did NOT do a basic diagnosis as mentioned. The guy basically walked around and did not check anything, then asked us to sign a consent form to get charged for $350 to check what the problem is and hopefully they can fix it, no guarantees. Definitely out to overcharge customers only.

This company is amazing. Great customer service and jobs done quickly and affordable
