Very knowledgeable and professional crew. Had someone at my house within a couple hours of my AC going down, and after being presented with several options we went with the one that fit my budget. Install crew did a wonderful job and got my AC up and running promptly!

Was a SHAPE member for a couple of years. Every time they come to your house to do their ‘yearly inspections’ the technicians always find (specifically look super hard) for large jobs that they recommend to be completed. I get that all houses and home owners have upkeep to maintain a house. However, the Service Today staff pressure you into completing the jobs and bag you to give them 5 stars. I had an electrical inspection yesterday, the technician sent off the fire alarms in my whole house. Then told me to have him check the rest of the house (5 other fire alarms) would be $500. It should be their policy to check and make sure the home is safe and not look for ways to make more money. After the electrical inspection was completed there was a surge to my thermostat which shut it off and turned off my furnace. Next day, furnace guy comes and tells me it would be over $200 for him to do a diagnostic. The electrician did something wrong the day before and the company should have owned up to their mistake and instead I got a rude response from the managers (2 of them) and the technician. I cancelled my shape account right away. Over the last 3 years I have spent over $40,000 on repairs. You would think a company that strives itself on customer satisfaction would be more interested in helping people versus only making money.

I recently purchased an a 1922 Apartment Building in St.Paul with 4 units. As is with old buildings…. There are old issues and plumbing is at the top of this list. Service Today has come out several times to support on backed up drains, replacement of old pipes/faucets and moving some others to correct locations. They’ve been thorough, on time, and extremely good communicators through the process. I signed up for their membership package and the value is already been received. Great company and service!

6 months to plumb a bathroom. Not done yet. Today the plumber came at 11:30 and left at 1:30 , said he had a family emergency. He wasn’t sure if he would be back tomorrow. This man has lied to me about calling me and being unable to reach me. My phone indicates there were no missed calls. I want them out of my house as soon as possible.

Good people from the top down. Technician came out and gave me a quote. Very honest. Didn't use the company for installation of my HVAC unit but would love to work with them in the future.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. Have not had a good experience. Technician came out, I explained our scenario and asked for the lowest end quote possible. The lowest quote for a replacement water heater was $6,000, with two others for $9,000 and $12,000, including repairing our kitchen faucet which I did not ask for. I was charged a diagnostic fee of $280, which I didn't know about. And at the end of the diagnostic, the answer was "Replace Water Heater". We knew it needed replacing already, and wanted a quote for a replacement unit!!
I since got 2 other quotes for $2,000 and $2,250, no diagnostic needed. CALL OTHER PLUMBERS OR COMPANIES, THEY WON'T CHARGE A CALL OUT FEE.
I since have called the company 3 times to seek a refund. I felt it fair to pay the $75 fee for the tech reps time, but I have now spent as much time as he did following up after this (whilst missing work to meet the rep in the first place). I hope this review helps resolve the matter and a manager will call me back to issue the refund. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY, TIME AND HEADACHE, USE OTHER COMPANIES.

We were contacted by Mitch R of Service Today and advised that he would arrive at our home in 45 minutes. He was prompt and friendly upon his arrival. He had been briefed on the work he would do so I promptly took him to the basement so that he could review the manifold that he was to replace. He explained that he was to move the manifold from the furnace and mount it on the wall to eliminate vibrations. He worked nonstop for approximately 4-5 hours then took me down to view the new manifold. He is a very courteous and friendly young man. We are totally satisfied and impressed with his work and would gladly have him back if needed!

Bill and Dylan were exceptional. Great service, on time and described to me every step of the way what they were doing and what the cost would be. I'm sure they are not the cheapest around for this kind of service but if you want it done right the first time there is no better.
