The technicians installed a new bathroom fan overcoming several challenges. They connected the fan to the roof vent. All work was done with care. They were friendly and informative and cleaned up when they were done. I’m very satisfied with their work.

I have used Stafford several times for home AC, furnace & other electrical including maintenance & installation. They are very knowledgeable and thorough, and also quite responsive if there is a problem to be solved.

Stafford retrofitted our existing hydronic floor heating system to run off of our existing boiler, and it works great. The engineer and technician were very professional, and completed the job exactly as promised and on time. We’ll definitely use Stafford again!

My wife and I contracted with Stafford in the fall of 2022 for electrical work on our new home including an inspection, fixing some wiring that was not to code, solving some mysterious wiring left by the previous owner, installing a new electrical panel, and assisting us with burying our electrical service.

Overall, Stafford was very easy to work with. They usually have staff available to answer phones and call back very quickly (unlike most other companies), they came on time to do work and completed it as promised with minimal interference to our life. Their broad skill set was also helpful as they were able to adjust some HVAC ductwork necessary to install the electrical panel. Finally, they helped us to navigate burying our electrical service with Xcel and their advice helped us to complete the process quickly without incurring fees from Xcel for asking for work too late in the year.

We would 100% hire Stafford again the next time we need assistance.

TLDR: Truly first-rate service from beginning to end. Don’t risk your trust with inferior alternatives, and don’t wait until your old unit dies like we did; Stafford will do the job competently and correctly.

Detail: We had an old furnace (around 29 years old) that finally bit the dust on, of all days, Black Friday of 2022. We previously had Stafford install a new electrical panel for us, so we were sure they were a company we could trust with such a major project. We also had a few furnace & a/c estimates from a couple of years prior, Stafford included, so we knew their pricing was fair and we decided they would be our first choice regarding a new unit. Dan (the owner) came out first thing on the following Monday and listened carefully to my plans and concerns; in order to accommodate a future planned expansion of a partially finished basement, we needed to have the furnace location moved a few feet, but that involved some tight spacing and required a bit of custom ductwork. Dan made sure to carefully measure, take my concerns into consideration and fully explain what could and could not be done in relation to what we wanted to do. His solution was perfect for our needs so we decided to go with their service after he promptly provided a very reasonable estimate. Given that we were requesting custom ductwork it did take a few days to get that manufactured, which was completely reasonable, and the crew was at our house as promised within a couple of days. The team lead that we had was Gabriel, and regarding both him and the crew, we were extremely happy with the entire process. Team members arrived on time or earlier, were well-presented and polite, took care to be mindful of property (rugs, floors, walls, etc.), and finished the job neatly, to spec and earlier than expected. Importantly, I saw no signs of any time-wasting; they were clearly working from arrival to departures each day. I’m really not sure we could have had a better experience with such a large and important project; we just wish we had replaced the unit proactively, rather than waiting until it died.

We did simultaneously purchase an air conditioning unit which they will hook up in spring, but we’ve no doubt that service will be as excellent as what we’ve already received. Highly recommended, without reservations.

They willingly educated us, as things in their industry improved. Very importantly to us, they are kind and SO respectful to homeowners, as well as having a great sense of humor when appropriate! I have purchased a new boiler system that needed to be rerouted outside the home. I have separately used this business for electrical work. Both times have gone extremely well, on time and on the cheaper side when getting bids. One of the best results was the city inspectors praising their workmanship.

We’ve had good experiences with Stafford in the past but today was definitely worth a shout out! Our furnace went out last night during a snowstorm that dropped over a foot of snow. Despite the weather & roads Stafford got Gab to us to assess the problem, source a part nearby, and fix the furnace before the end of the day. Great service that came through when we where in a pinch and conditions were tough.
