I had a routine furnace inspection performed as it's required by my condo association every two years. I hired Pronto for this service and they sent Matt the next day.
Matt was awesome and answered my many questions about what he was cleaning and testing -- any why. He offered advise on filter options and explained how all the major components of the furnace worked (I asked). I definitely will use Pronto (and Matt) in the future!

He tracked down parts through a 3rd party and installed them at 6pm. He went above and beyond to make sure our family of 6 could sleep in warmth in a frigid winter night.

Pronto was able to schedule a service call within 2 days. They were timely in their arrival window, explained the tune-up process and replaced a part that was making noise and was the reason for the call to them. They wore shoe covers and went over service options and recommendations - no pressure to purchase anything other than the part we had replaced. We've used them before for HVAC tune ups and purchased our air conditioner from them. They're friendly, professional and fair and I'll definitely use them for my HVAC needs in the future.

We spent over $15K on a new Burnham boiler and hot water heater.
There was a gas leak in the boiler line because they didn’t tighten the connection or check it well enough. Life threatening.
A couple weeks after the install, the hot water heater stopped working. They said it was a lemon.
This ordeal was a long hard story you don't want to hear.
Things happen. The true test of a company or person is how they handle it when things go awry. Maybe it's not the company and maybe it's just one guy. The way we were treated by Mike, the sales person, was disrespectful, arrogant, insulting and rude, invasive and unprofessional.
Instead of being concerned about us, accepting mistakes and apologizing, others were blamed and badmouthed, including us, their good paying customers. Mike needs some training in civilities, compassion, anti-sexism and ageism.
