I have posted the exact same content below for my Yelp of HomeWorks. I suspect they are manipulating their Google reviews. See the terrible Yelp rating. I also received a postcard from HomeWorks thanking me for my google review BEFORE I left one! I think these 5-star reviews are fake.

I contacted HomeWorks and two other plumbing companies for an estimate for several plumbing projects. I had no experience with the company and didn't know anyone who did. The estimator made a big deal about putting on his shoe protectors when I said he didn't have to. He said, "Oh, we HAVE to wear them." Everything was focused on how much they cared about their customers and took care of the customers' homes as if they were their own. Then he proceeded to quote me $12,000 for my projects. Other well-rated, reputable plumbing companies' estimates were less than 10% of that (less than $1200). Really? Just how dumb do you think I am? Today, I was flushing my water heater and noticed that he'd slapped a sticker on my water heater that says, DO NOT REMOVE and has their number on it to call for maintenance. We never even hired these people. They want 10 times the amount I should have paid. I guess they have to charge more for their expensive marketing campaigns and vehicle wraps. Sorry, your marketing budget is not my problem.

The estimator also turned the heat down on the water heater to the mininum setting. Hmmm. Maybe he was hoping I'd call them to say it's not working without bothering to check it? Beware if you're female and/or have what appears to be an expensive house. Also, I can't believe the difference between their Yelp rating and their Google Reviews. Something seriously hokey going on with the Google reviews. Shysters.

He quickly evaluated our problem (which was more complex than we thought) and was very professional as he explained what he was doing and why. We are very impressed with Josh and HomeWorks who responded to us quickly via email, texts, and phone calls.

I got a call from HomeWorks offering a free inspection of my HVAC system. I got curious and decided to see what they would try to upsell. They found several things that were "terribly wrong" and "needed immediate repairs", or my AC and furnace "would break and leave me without heat or cooling". I got a second opinion from a reputable HVAC specialist, and none of these turn out to be remotely true, didn't make any sense, or required simple dusting, etc. But my estimate from HomeWorks was for $3,336.00. Never again.

Cole and Victor from Homeworks did a great job with our A/C replacement and installation! They were professional, efficient and answered all our questions.

Josh the technician that helped me out. He was prompt, friendly, super informative and helpful. Absolutely wonderful customer service. Highly recommend.

In March 2020, I called HomeWorks to inspect my furnace. Eric arrived and was great. We purchased a new magnetic air filter and joined their membership program, which essentially cost us zero when we factored in the cost savings given to us on the air filter as a member. I had no idea how much that membership would pay off. Fast forward to Monday, November 30th and our hot water heater had leaked water everywhere; I didn’t have a clue how to fix it. I called HomeWorks that morning and they sent Michael, a master plumber, out to our home before noon THE SAME DAY. Michael was knowledgeable and immediately diagnosed the problem, gave us a solution and an all in price (which included getting the attached pipes/ducting up to code) that was more than fair. The new water heater arrived and he installed it. He left Adam to clean up and get the furnace started. Now Adam was an apprentice or as his trainer called it, “in potty training”. When I asked him a couple of questions, he admitted he didn’t know the answers rather than make something up. By 6pm, he was still at the house as he couldn’t lite the furnace so Josh, a different master plumber, came over to help. Josh ended up replacing the burner and the furnace lit. On Wednesday, I had no hot water, so I called HomeWorks and the same day, they sent Josh again. He saw that the pilot light was out and without wasting any time, he decided to replace the water heater rather than attempt another repair. Adam was being “potty trained” so I jokingly told him not to mess on my floors as he assisted; everyone got a good laugh. Within a short time, the new water heater was installed and we again had hot water. That evening, my wife noticed a small pool of water had collected on the floor. She looked up and found that some corroded pipes which were down the line from the water heater were leaking. I called HomeWorks that night and by 7:45am, Josh and Adam arrived and replaced the copper pipes at no charge. While many might look at this situation as a cluster, I am extremely impressed at a couple of things. First, the response time and proactive communication from HomeWorks. They were at my home in less than 24 hours and texted me when the plumber was on their way. Second, Adam and Josh’s expertise, realism and sense of humor. They didn’t try to upsell me, they were factual in their evaluation and Josh never complained once about having to come back multiple times. Third, I paid only to replace the water heater. Most plumbers charge just to visit and I had a master plumber visit my home 4x at no cost to me. This is a great organization and I’m extremely grateful they have my back!

Jerry & Richard came and performed maintenance on my furnace. They did a great & very complete job. I learned more that I ever have about the health and care of my heating & air system. Thanks a ton. Best of luck to both of these two guys and their families.

Professional, courteous and knowledgeable, but expensive. I think their pricing should be much more competitive. The quality of service is good.

Charles was very professional and knowledgeable. He was very approachable as well. We would like to see him again.

Furnace and AC inspection conducted in timely manner. Jared explained what wa needed. The news (probable replacement required) wasn’t good, but delivered in a friendly, professional manner.
