Had a great experience. Had a AC tune up. Great price. Jared was great at his job, and vary thorough. After his inspection and tune up. Went through each item with me when done. Gave me all my options and prices. Did not pressure me to make any quick decisions . Great personality and knowledgeable at his job. I will definitely use them again and tell others.
I called a different repair company first to look at my water softener and regretted it. The other company was pushing for a sale and spent no time at all actually looking at the current appliance. I decided to get a second opinion from HomeWorks and I am very glad I did! HomeWorks was very responsive, able to come and assist quickly, and did a professional and thorough job of reviewing my current appliance before recommending a move to a newer model. Adam was pleasant to work with, educated my husband and I without talking down to us, and after giving us some time to think through the right option for us he jumped very quickly into the repair , which ended up being less expensive and have a longer warranty than the first company. Adam took time after the installation to educate us about care and settings, and he also answered some questions we had as new homeowners about other appliances and preventative maintenance. Adam was great and I was very pleased with the high quality and quick installation, and the fair pricing. I would work with HomeWorks again any time I needed their help.
When our air conditioning went out, I was very grateful that HomeWorks could send someone out same day. However, the experience quickly soured as soon as I told them I didn’t want to jump into their quoted $1700 repair. They specified in their quote that they couldn’t guarantee that the suggested work would fix the AC, and it could need further repairs/complete replacement. Given the high price, I said I was happy to pay the diagnostic fee and I would call them back after getting quotes and talking to my partner. Instead of leaving, they called their supervisor who proceeded to essentially bully me. The phone call went on for an uncomfortably long time, despite my persistence. Over the next week, we shopped around for a more honest service. The second company was able to fix our AC the day they came out with what they said was an $8 part. I called HomeWorks back and asked to speak to someone about what occurred and how I felt rudely pressured by the predatory supervisor, but my call was never returned. Overall, I am out the diagnostic fee and was without AC for a week as a result of their incompetence. The second company didn’t charge us anything, they felt so badly about our experience.

Mine was 7:30am to 10:30am. Once here , hey explained things well. I still haven't gotten my field report with pictures, so don't count on that. Their prices are ok, and the tech and salesman were both nice and professional.
Michael was very professional, to the point and didn't waste time trying to upsell products I may not have needed. He worked fast and efficiently, and took the time to explain simple things about water heaters I never knew about that are vital to its longevity. In and out in about 2-2.5 hours, top notch service at high speeds. If only all professionals were as good. 👍
My technician, Jared, is a personable young man who communicated the issues to me clearly. Very likable and efficient! (He even killed the wasps trying to nest inside my AC unit!) He booked the next service I need in order to complete the job and has impressed me enough to join their program, "The Works Plan". I am very glad that I tried this company and will continue to do so. Prices seem reasonable (and fair) to me for the amount of inspection and work that Jared did.
Brian came and did an Evaluation of what I needed as to Air Conditioner and Furnace and went over the possible choices. I'm very satisfied with his Assessment. I believe he understands my position as being Retired and on a fixed Income. Hopefully we can come to a final Price for me and move forward.

The prices are very competitive and actually were half the price of two other quotes from other companies. It is nice that their dispatch fee is waived if you go with their work as well.

He took the time to answer A LOT of questions i had...an embarrassingly large number of questions actually. He's very logical and very knowledgeable about his craft. It’s a sales pitch to an extent, but Jeremy was totally not high pressure. There were several issues which we could have put on bandaids, but in the end, decided to replace the water heater due to age. Once we agreed on a new one, a call was placed and another tech was out with replacement very quickly. Install was fast and efficient. Old heater taken with them. We had never used HomeWorks before. Communication with all involved was great. Service great. They are a bit more expensive than what we anticipated, but having them out quickly after initial call, and a quick install, we went with it. The only reason I didn’t 5 star it was the price.
