I had an electric generator installed due to my mother being on oxygen and the power kept going out. The company I worked with were supposed to provide an outside contractor to install a gas line. I had to re order the generator 3 times due to backorder items and shortages. I had to reschedule the install because the installer could only come during the week, and I work long hours on weekdays. Two days before the install the generator installer told me they "fired" the gas line installer and that I needed to find one on my own. I was livid. I called a few places after a google search, and I was told "we don't do that". I was an emotional mess. My mom had a furnace installed (which works really well with no issues, after 3 other companies could not fix the problems with the furnace) and she found the paperwork, and asked me to give them a call. I called them on a Saturday afternoon. A very nice woman answered, patiently listened to my problem, and said in the nicest way possible "I don't know if we do that and the guys are out for the rest of the day, but I will find out and have them give you a call". I expected to be blown off again, however I got a call first thing Monday morning, the man was very friendly, and said he could come over and give me an estimate, when it was convenient for me around my schedule. My heart sank, that was amazing! They came over that following Saturday, I happened to be running errands, and he spoke with my mom through the doorbell camera, she told him to come on back in the yard, he did his inspection, then wrote everything down for me in detail, and left it between my back doors like my mother asked him to do. He then called me and told me everything. He offered to come back and pick the authorization paperwork back up, but I suggested I emailed it back, so he provided me his email. I was so impressed with them working with our weird situation. I called my mom discussed it with her, and we were a go ahead, gave him a call back, and we set up an appt for the following Saturday! Two gentlemen came out told me what they were going to do and let me relax with my mom while they did their work. When finished, they took credit card payment from me on their phone app with no problems. They showed me what they did, and gave me a receipt with detailed information of what they did. After the horrible experience I had getting the generator installed, it was such a relief that it was taken care of quickly and efficiently, without being bothered. Their pricing was very wonderful, and the work was great. They guys even showed me what they did to make sure everything was secure, and would last many years. I am so impressed. I hope everyone I know that needs services uses these guys!

After having two failed attempts with other technicians/companies coming to our home, Matt Rahn from Detroit Furnance came out to look at our sink that was backing up and our shower that was leaking into our basement. He explained the problems in detail, taking the time for us to understand what was going on and exactly what needed to be done to have the problem fixed before doing so himself. Matt was very knowledgable and extremely professional, we havent had a problem since!

Jason P. was able to diagnose the issue with Humidifier and fixed. Saw furnace looked like running well through calling for heat / water. Gave options on Thermostat and left card to call if any further problems! Good job so far!

Jason Piotrowski was very professional and took less than a minute to diagnose the issue with my furnace. He was also on time and had great communication skills. We did the work quick and efficiently.

Matt Rahn came out to fix my leaky kitchen pipe. He was courteous and very knowledgeable. I will call him again for any future plumbing issues.

After contacting Consumers Energy about the loud humming that my furnace was making, Jason P from Detroit Furnace Company stopped by my house in Hazel Park the next day and diagnosed the problem to be a bad Inducer motor, Jason left to get the part and came back very quickly to install the new part, and all was well with my furnace again, the whole process was very prompt, and Jason was very professional, helpful and courteous.

My AC went out during a 100 degree week and Detroit Furnace was sent by DTE. They were super booked up and I called way after business hours to be greeted by the compassionate, extremely helpful Tom. He said he would try his best to fit me in their busy schedule earlier and not only did he do that but he remembered to call me early in the morning! What a guy. To remember a customers request during their busiest season is top of the line customer service! The service men that arrived at my home were very nice as well. I didn’t catch their names because I had to be at work but my mom popped by to be there and she said they were very knowledgeable, professional, and they went the extra mile. Thank you all at Detroit Furnace! Especially Tom!!!!

Great , professional, friendly service. Can't say enough good things about these guy's. They were working in Bay City, MI replacing old gas meters. Highly recommended if you want excellent service and work completed neatly and efficiently.

My furnace would click away and never start. Jason determined the issue quickly, and the unit hasn't worked this well in years!
