    CMR Mechanical is the best! My air conditioner broke so I called them to fix it. They scheduled a technician to come out. He arrived promptly, was very clean and polite (put the little booties on his feet to not track dirt into the house). He had the problem fixed in 20 minutes and took the time to show me what the problem was and what he did to fix it.

    The service was fast, professional, and affordable, and I highly recommend them!

    The technician Charlie from CMR Mechanical made two house calls to inspect and then fix our AC. We were so pleased and impressed by his service. He went out of his way to explain--and show evidence of--the problem (mice) and to show exactly what mechanism he was replacing. He checked everything carefully before he left to make sure the new mechanism was set up perfectly, adjusting the thermostats for us and making sure our remote control wands were powered. He was courteous, articulate and a real pleasure to work with. Thank you Charlie!

    I had a furnace check done by another local company who, upon visual inspection, advised me that I needed to replace the furnace due to a bad heat exchanger.

    CMR Mechanical came for a second opinion. Charlie was extremely thorough, took apart the furnace to examine the heat exchangers (no cracks or rust), and did a combustion analysis which did not show any elevations in the carbon monoxide level. He even called the furnace manufacturer to discuss a few features on the particular model, and then also changed the gas pressure to the manufacturer setting. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped educate afterwards on everything he did.

    The next day, we noted the heat was actually worse, with minimal heat from the vents and unable to keep the heat above 65 degrees. I called CMR and within the hour Charlie called me back. Despite having an overbooked schedule due to the below 0 weather, he came and reexamined the furnace and spent an hour troubleshooting. The gas pressure adjustment (which he had put to the manufacturer setting) was inadvertently running the furnace too hot and setting off a high-limit shutoff. He readjusted the setting and marked on the furnace of the proper settings for the house so future servicemen would not make the same mistake.

    The other local company used my 8 month old baby as a guilt trip to buy a new furnace. Charlie used my baby as motivation to go the extra mile to test whether there was an actual problem with the furnace (which there wasn't), and came back the following day to troubleshoot an inadvertent error.

    CMR has won my trust as a customer and will be my go-to for HVAC needs in the future!

    It's February 24th and the temperature is near zero. Our furnace will not heat to the set temperature. After a cold night sleeping in a house that is now below fifty degrees, I called CMR the minute they opened and spoke with Mark. They had a full schedule, but he understood our situation and worked to free up a Tech. He checked in with me a couple of times and by 9:30 am, the Technician, Charlie was at my door ready to work. He quickly identified the problem and the furnace was running properly within an hour.

    I appreciated how Mark followed up and fit us into their busy schedule. I am happy to have found a company I will continue to use and one I can refer to others.

    It was 19 degrees outside.
    It was 9:00 PM on a Friday.
    I left a message on the 24-hour emergency line - Eric got back to me within 20 minutes and he was on-site a hour later. He repaired the boiler within 30 minutes.

    I'm switching to CMR Mechanical for my all my rental properties.

    a couple more notes: even though I was not an established customer, they took my call and responded.
    (btw. my regular service company took 48 hours to get back to me even though I left a message that I was an established customer and I have no heat!)

    I called CMR for issues with my furnace about a month and a half ago, so they sent out a repairman to fix the problem. He said he needed to return the next day to fully fix the problem; however, to this date no one has ever come back to my house.

    When I called them (They never contacted me) they said that they would be unable to fix the problem and instead of proposing solutions to leave me with a working furnace, they sent me an invoice for a repair of over $400. When I asked them if they would be able to give me a discount because they actually made it more difficult for me to get a working furnace, they said they would look into it and haven't contacted me regarding their decision. That was over a month ago, and now they sent me another invoice for the original amount plus a late fee.

    It is clear to me that CMR will help you up to the point where it is convenient for them, and pretend you don't exist once helping you isn't in their best interest. For this reason I would recommend not to choose them for repair jobs.

    CMR installed a new a/c system in our home and they were top notch through the entire process. The owner and crew were direct, honest, knowledgeable, on time and clean. The system works great and we are very happy customers.

    Our furnace had stopped working in the night, so I called CMR Mechanical and they were to our house and had it fixed by 9 a.m.! Charlie, the technician, explained it was a high limiter switch that had tripped. He showed me how to fix it the next time it happened. I really appreciate their honesty and expertise!

    Decision:

    CMR gets the job.

    1: In case you do it yourself.
    According the instruction you have NO WARRANTY
    2: Reading through the manufacture installation manual
    You need some additional tools to adjust the furnace.
    Buy or rent the equipment is possible but add some USD.

    Do it your self safes maximum 300 USD. Not worth the money or time!

    I am the owner of Dalton Environmental Air Duct Cleaning. Much of our service area is shared by CMR Mechanical and we have many common customers. I have heard only praise from these customers about CMR. I personally get to see the fine work and craftsmanship they perform. I enjoy dealing with Andy Bobo and the rest of the crew! If a customer asks me for the name of heating and cooling company I am confident recommending CMR to do the job.
