Manning Mechanical

My wife called DTE for service for our furnace. DTE deployed Manning Mechanical. I rarely post reviews, but in this case I had to give a big shout out to my service tech "Jamaal Franklin".
His service was exemplary from start to finish. I asked him to leave some business cards so that I could share this awesome company with my family and friends. Thank you Manning Mechanical for the great service.

These are the people to call if your looking for quality service. This is the only company I request to come to my home and if they have a waiting period for service, I will wait for them. They have NEVER let me down. They will go far and beyond for your family. When I need them, I’m happy to see them. Thanks “CJ” & Jamal.

If I could rate this company a million stars I would. The service I received was beyond my expectations. They truly don’t make many companies like Manning Mechanical. Over the course of 2 years I had my boiler repaired, thermostat replaced and the boiler was ultimately replaced after being serviced by another company that ruined it. I was devasted and had no clue where to begin as a first time homeowner. Carlin immediately jumped in and did everything in his power to help. I couldn’t afford to pay for a new boiler right away so I saved for a few months and even as I saved, he checked on my home periodically to see if there was anyway he could help. That speaks volumes of his character, he was so kind, personable and professional, every tech he sent out was the exact same way, and I’ve had atleast 6 people come out over the course of 2 years! Very kind, respectful and they truly are experts at what they do and it’s not just work, they take pride in what they do. I had a new pennco boiler installed in October and process was so easy! They coached me through properly caring for my new equipment. Showed me step by step on how to do maintenance and explained everything with patience! Everyone at Manning Mechanical is truly amazing! A1 staff! I feel as though my dollar was well spent and they valued me as a customer! I would only recommend MM for any service, they are the best of the best!

Cliff was the most respectful and professional person ever. Very polite and honest. I was very comfortable with him working in my home.

Got my new furnace and a/c installed 2weeks ago by Darryl and cliff they were very professional and experienced. Darryl showed me and my son how to work our new wifi thermostat which is awesome. He was very knowledgeable about our new system and answered all of or questions. The sales rep Rodney was very professional as well. This company deserves 10+ star's I would recommend them for sure.1

This is my second review on this company and I have to say that I am very impressed with their service. The supervisor tech Jamaal was superb. When the other techs were busy on other jobs, he assured me he would get the job done himself so that I wouldn't have to take off any more work. He made sure my AC was up and running with no delays, even if it was well after their quitting time. I truly appreciate that. He is knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in terms I can understand them. Thank you soooooo much! I will be calling again if I need assistance in the future.

I can't say enough about the staff at Manning Mechanical, they got the job done and they got the job done right!! I needed my steam boiler replaced AND a new hot water heater. The job ended up being bigger than anticipated but that didn't deter them. Always respectful and polite from start to finish. Would definitely call them again if I ever need heating and cooling service.

Came in home to do a hot water tank repair. Refused to repair or put back together to its original working condition.. gave a quote of replacement than price went up to a way higher amount the next day.. dte sent them out and I have reported it to dte... I would not advise wasting your time with this company for its a ripoff who wants you to finance their work.

In February 2022 I needed a brand-new steam boiler and several pipe replacements for my home. I tried all the big well known Heating Companies . [They each charge a fee to come to your house. I paid ] . Some of the others either did not call back, wanted to charge me $12000.00 to install a $249 water feeder, or install a whole new system for $12 K to $15 K without fully diagnosing other alternatives. Manning Mechanical was my last chance . The young lady who took my call was exceedingly kind and professional.[ They did not even charge a diagnosis fee] The owner himself showed up as scheduled . He was very polite, respectable, and honest. He accessed my system and upon my request gave me a very fair and competitive estimate .
Within hours Mr Manning had gotten back with a written estimate before his actual deadline of 24 hours. [ By comparison ,A competitor Heating did not even call me back even after stating they would] After reviewing the estimate and answering my questions I decide to move forward with Manning Mechanical . Each Team member called , showed up on time or earlier and addressed me as sir. They were all professional, explained each step-in process and cleaned up after. I can honestly state that the Manning Mechanical team was the most professional & honest company I have ever conducted business with . Their workmanship and punctuality were refreshing. I have been dealing with many contractors who do not return calls , show up late and charge too much. Manning Mechanical is a refreshing change ! You will not find a better company to manage your Heating, Cooling or Plumbing. Note : They also rate the Highest in Positive reviews. I did the math, and you can too.

The company was in consistent communication with me and provided updates leading to my service appointment. When they arrived at my home and during the appointment they were friendly and professional.
