The people from Alvin Hollis were excellent to deal with from the start of the project to the finished of it. The sales person was very easy to deal with, an the installers were top notch. The heating system they installed is top of the line an it working great

I had to pay a bill there for someone leasing a place, and they have not the worst but second worst customer service that I have ever came across anywhere. (or I would have given them a Zero star).
The people there not only are rude to customers, but if you have the displeasure of going into their store, you will smell their oil business right as you open the door. Seems that the office staff has dirty feet as the drivers themselves. This place is also higher than others with regards to price. They have the audacity to still serve others with such poor customer service skills these days blows my mind out of the water. They need to have some lessons in customer service. The reason for this is not only one person was rude. Usually if it's one person (a billing person or rude secretary), but I spoke to 2 of them who were rude, and one who was adequate at best. 4 other companies I called were all very professional and nice, even the one man business who picked up on his cell phone was 4x more nice than everyone I spoke to at Alvin Hollis.
My suggestion is stay as far away as you can. Use this company only if your OUT of oil and they are the LAST ones who are open and your hand is forced.

Great experience replacing my HVAC condenser and air handler. They were also helpful with the massave incentives. They were prompt, friendly, and timely with their work. Overall, a great local heating/cooling specialist.

New customer as of summer of 2017. I've had a few reasons to call this winter (2018) and they've been outstanding with communication, response time , and quality. I'd recommend Alvin Hollis to anyone on the south shore who is looking for a company that offers honest pricing and stands behind their brand through service and professionalism.

Alvin Hollis are pros, and they're looking out for the customer. Twice they have given us quick emergency response, including replacing our furnace over the New Year holiday when we despaired of finding anyone to help. Their prices are very reasonable, and you get what you pay for. Can't say enough good about this company.

I have been using Alvin Hollis for years on oil for our heating system. We recently have them replace our old central air system. The setup for the new system is done professionally and we finally can enjoy a cool summer.

What a great company. The quote for the job was done quickly and my new heating/air conditioning system was assembled and working in one day. They also put in a new hot water heater. The team cleaned up and were very helpful.

We have been a customer for almost 20 years and have always experienced great service, both in routine and emergency situations. Recently we had a new oil burner installed; technicians were professional, friendly, completed the job on time, and returned quickly the next day to troubleshoot an unexpected problem. The company's customer-service orientation is obvious in all aspects of its operation.

The last service I requested went very well. The technician was professional and gave great advice as to what needed to be done in the future and explained in detail the maintenance job that he was performing. There hasn't been any issues and my equipment has been still been working in good order. The customer service has been good and I recommend this company for your oil and heating needs and maintenance.

a hot water pipe burst at 2am-called Alvin Hollis-someone was at my house in 30 mintues.
