Alvin Hollis was super helpful at a time of need for us. We were without heat, hot water, etc. from a boiler issues. They typically don't sign on net new customers, but because of our dire circumstances they helped us out. We signed on as a new oil consumer with them and they installed the boiler within 48 hours notice. A Manager (Joe) drove out to our house to get everything setup within hours of our call. Overall, very impressed by their customer loyalty and due diligence to help us out in a great time of need.

We moved to the area recently and found out we needed a new oil furnace right away. Neighbors recommended Alvin Hollis and we were not disappointed. The staff is friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. The prices are competitive and the customer service great. The two installers were the most professional - a rare pleasure! When they were done they took the time to walk me through operation and left the area spotless.

We have been a customer of Alvin Hollis for over 40 years. They are fantastic! Always here when you need them and their Customer Service is hands down the best! As an example, on 10/7 we needed service on our furnace, which has quite a few years on it and has been kept running beautifully by their team for a long time. The gentleman who came out, his name was Dave, was a consummate professional. He spent quite a long time doing a thorough testing and cleaning procedure as well as checking out our water heater, which was not on his intended "to-do" list. He was very polite and extremely friendly. Not your typical service person. Between that and the customer service folks we deal with who are just as professional and kind, we highly recommend Alvin Hollis to anyone and have done so multiple times in the past. You won't be sorry!

Our experience with Alvin Hollis has truly been nothing short of exceptional. We have used Alvin Hollis for installation of our Mitsubishi Wall HVAC systems as well as our existing heating and cooling system. They ran gas lines throughout our home to connect with a new gas line that Columbia Gas had installed exteriorly. The end of May 2017 our central air conditioning unit stopped working and we needed to have it replaced. We called Alvin Hollis in Weymouth and they sent a technician to our home to inspect the job that needed to be done and got back to us promptly with a reasonable, detailed estimate. On the day the AC unit was scheduled to be installed they were on time and extremely competent. The unit has been performing quietly and efficiently and we could not be more pleased. Alvin Hollis is a reliable local business that we would recommend to family and friends.

I cannot say enough good things about the service I received today from Alvin Hollis. It was the best service I've gotten in a decade from any business. We just signed a contract with AH to provide our heating oil and Laura, the representative, came to our house and went over everything. She was extremely knowledgeable about all facets of the business and very friendly. Our heat went out the day before and she was able to have our unit serviced today. I feel very secure knowing they will be our provider.

AH installed our all our heating and plumbing when we built our home 17 years ago and have provided us oil and done all our servicing since. Very professional, courteous and responsive at every step. Needed to replace our A/C at the end of the summer which required some extra duct work with the 3 zones. Job was done on time and even under budget as they were able to complete the work in less hours than originally estimated. AH delivers high quality work at a price appropriate with the results and their professionalism.

Great experience as a new customer. Truly appreciated Al and Sean who did the install of our new heat pump and AC system. It was not an easy job. Our spaces were tough to navigate, and our old system was a bear to remove. They kept at it, worked hard, were reliable, communicated everything really well and were pleasant. Jake and his father did the electrical work and are deserving of special note. They arrived quickly, solved a pressing problem, answered our questions (so did Al and Sean) and also were pleasant.

We were almost shocked how great all the guys were.

A final thanks to Colin for setting up the project. He explained everything well (technical issues and pricing), gave us a reliable project schedule and likewise was remarkably polite/friendly.

I have been a customer of Alvin Hollis for over 30 years. They added a central air conditioning system to an existing home with hot air heat. They now provide annual and emergency service for my new home that has two a/c systems.
I needed emergency service one hot August weekend and their technician responded within an hour or two on a Saturday and made a temporary repair to get the system running and then quoted and replaced the failed parts in the 17 year old air handling system matching it to the older Freon that my systems use.
They have a very good staff and I highly recommend them.
