Akian Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning

We woke up in the middle of the night to find out AC wasn’t working and it was very hot. Thankfully Akian had availability the same day we called, our technician Orlando was very professional and explained every step of the process along the way. He was very detailed and told us exactly what he was going to do and what he was finding so we were well informed, and made sure to ask before he did anything. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and got our AC back up and running in a couple hours which we were so thankful for! Their scheduling department was also very easy to work with, they are all responsive and made the entire process smooth. Orlando had to come twice and both times he came during the beginning of the 4 hr time frame that was given to us, once he even came a bit earlier. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot express fully how we feel so fortunate to have connected with Akian plumbing and heating. Pipes start to drip more and more. It’s 5:00 AM. We leave 100s of messages. Akian called back first after opening and came in a very short time. Explaining our whole water/plumbing/ heating system. Incredible connection in a short time. Very nice. We feel so fortunate to have discovered Akian. Amazing.

Recently, my kitchen sink started leaking which led to a puddle of water on the floor. I found Akian Plumbing and decided to see if they could help. Uriel came by today and did a great job. He was good at explaining what the issue was as well as pointing out possible future issues and fixed everything on the same day.

Antonio is the engineer who provided repair service for us. He is clearly the most professional and experienced HVAC engineer I’ve ever met in all my many years. He is articulate in explaining problems and recounts in detail everything he has done.

I really appreciate Antonio’s generosity in taking time to make sure we understand all the issues. He took care to consult our furnace’s manufacturer about recent updates that relate to our particular furnace problem. And he efficiently made the necessary adjustments and repairs.

On top of this, he is friendly and very polite. I highly recommend Antonio as a wonderful HVAC technician.

We had James come to troubleshoot our AC and he couldn’t have been more professional. Such a nice guy and cares so much about serving his clients. He not only fixed our AC, but made steps to make future inspection processes more streamlined and efficient, which I greatly appreciated, and was all great value. James was truly fantastic, and if you’re looking for services that Akian provides, you won’t find better talent, customer service, and professionalism. I plan on only using them in the future.

These guys are awesome - James and Barry did a wonderful job identifying the issue with my [formerly] broken AC and getting it fixed as soon as they could. I really appreciate their honesty and thoroughness. Evan was also super helpful in providing a maintenance inspection for me and letting me know the next steps. All very friendly, would recommend 10/10.

Due to a shortage of skilled plumbers, getting plumbers to even show up is a challenge in 2023. That being said Akian excels at their service, reachability, and getting talented plumbers to show up. Contacting them is effortless and their communication is amazing. They get a grade A for service. I dealt with two of their plumbers, Jess and Uriel. They are both very friendly, professional, and good at their trade. If you need plumbing help ASAP and need someone to call, I would highly recommend Akian. Now the negatives, Akian's prices go above the brink of gun point robbery and Robber Barrons. If you call them, just know you will spend $1000+ for even the most basic or simplest task. I know they are good and could get the job done but I would be petrified to call them if I had a serious plumbing issue because I know their quote would be easily five figures. They returned for the second time to hook up my gas, which was included in the first price I paid, which was north of $1,000. Since they were already here, I figured they could hook up my new kitchen sink, which I had the new faucet, the new piping, and all of the parts. They quoted me $900. Seriously $900 to hook up a kitchen sink with all of the parts. I understand the scarcity of plumbers and the increased prices due to it being a challenge to get a plumber to show up but really $900 to hook up a sink! $500 to do 30 minutes of work would have been unreasonable and insane but $900 is pretty much gunpoint robbery. I obviously just did it myself and got someone to help me for $100. The thing that pains me is the prospect of a single mother only wanting clean water for her kids and getting an outrages quote, such as this. I am all for paying a premium to get quality service and save time but this is just nuts. This pricing model is similar to McDonald's trying to charge someone $250 for a Big Mac. All of this being said, Akian has amazing service, employees amazing people, and does amazing work. If you are willing to pay extreme multiples for the service just to get it done, then definitely call them. But as I stated earlier, I have trepidation in regards to calling them if I had a serious issue because they would probably quote me $9,000 to fix a serious leak or frozen pipe. It would not be good to have to deal with an unreliable plumber who may or may not show up but I would certainly take that chance for a 70% price difference.

This is our second service with Akian Plumbing, Barry and James are great, James is very thorough and patiently answered all the questions we had, he is very kind and nice to us and very passionate about what he do. We had wonderful experience with him. Barry is also very friendly and provided us some different options for the first diagnostic visit. We like Akian Plumbing company very much, they have great and talented employees and we will definitely doing business with them again!

Working with Aikan was a great experience. We were able to get something scheduled on our timetable. The day of the repair, they kept us updated on their timing so we knew when they were going to arrive. Uriel Ramirez was friendly, explained everything we needed before he started the repair and cleaned up extremely well after completing the job. We would definitely use them again in the future.

I was really happy with Akian! We needed our mini split system replacing. The sales team did a great job evaluating our options (with some good prices), and when we committed to getting the work done, the entire job was not just started but completed within the same week. The team at the house were really professional, did a good looking job and took the time to test to make sure that everything worked as it should and explained what we needed to do. I would totally use them again, should one of our other systems need repair/replacement.
