A very nice Akian technician named Uriel came within an hour of my initial call to the office. He was obviously very capable, very polite, organized and efficient. He replaced broken valves under the kitchen sink.
He thoroughly checked his work and cleaned up before he left. He gave me a good advice on how to maintain the pipes clean. The office communicates with texting so one knows exactly when the technician will be dispatched.
This happened today, on Monday - Presidents day, when some other businesses are closed.
After dealing with another company that did not show up and delayed further appointments, this was a treat!

I needed a leaking water heater to be replaced promptly. Akian were very responsive. They gave me an immediate appointment, kept me updated of the time of arrival of their technician via both test messages and email, and they arrived on the promised time. They gave me 5 different estimates based on the extent of work I wanted to be done, from just basic replacement to additional bells and whistles that would prevent and notify about unnoticed leak. All were explained in detail. There was no sales pressure. All my questions were adequately answered. Once we came to an agreement, they came back first thing in the morning on the next day and spent the better part of the day in repair and replacement of the defective equipment. They also noticed an imminent leak that was about to happen in a valve in the adjacent heating system boiler, they offered solution and were able to execute immediate remedial. Their engineer and workers were knowledgeable, polite, efficient and very professional.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Manny to repair my HVAC duct and vent pipes and heating system, and I have not witnessed such a high level of great service in a long time. From the moment I called, Manny and his team was prompt, courteous, and professional. Not only did they quickly diagnose the issue with my system, but Manny also went above and beyond to explain the problem to me and offer several solutions. Akian installed a heat pump heating and cooling system, plus a hot water heating system. At every step, everyone I interacted with was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Before I selected Akian for this significant project, I shopped around. Steve Akian sold me with his respectful, knowledgeable answers to my many questions. Steve also visited my home during the installation, answered my questions, and showed me around the hot water heater. The other personnel on site (shout outs to Ray, George, Chris, Andy, and Zach!) and off site (Merrissa!!) also responded promptly to all questions and showed me the rest of the equipment. I’m confident this wonderful company will follow up on any issues that might arise. And I love the new systems; my home is comfortable. Finally, I am very glad that I no longer need oil to heat my home!

I don’t usually review businesses. This one is a must. George is by far the best plumber and installer I’ve had. They are extremely prompt, professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Overall they have done dozens of fixes and installs in our home and not once have we not been impressed. If you are looking to have a great plumber on call for anything call Akian.

I had a problem with my HVAC in my new house and called Akian based on positive reviews. They were out at my house within just a few hours of my call. They were professional, clean, thorough and explained what needed to be done clearly.

On Monday, January 30, Orlando and Jonathan G. from Akian Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, arrived to replace the motor/blower on my heating system. It had been a chilly six days without heat so I was very glad to see both of them.
I can't say enough at how professional, courteous and skilled these two technicians were. They explained everything they were doing and when it was discovered the new motor had not been properly programmed they removed the unit and went back to their shop, had it programmed and were back within an hour. I was so pleased.
Once the system was back up and running they carefully checked for any safety issues, including carbon monoxide emissions. They found none which is a good thing.
Orlando and Jonathan G. are excellent representatives for Akian. Two of the best.
