John was great, on time and professional, explained the problem patiently and thoroughly. The quote for a full fix was frankly kind of outrageous, but the service call was worth it for the diagnosis and I was able to replace the faulty faucet cartridge myself.
Separately, Aspinwall did a great job installing our heat pumps, which we love. Jake is great and super helpful, and came back a year later to expertly fix our heat pump drain lines after a siding installer messed them up.

Danny and James were great. They took care of 2 fireplaces. They were on time and did a fantastic job. I would definitely use Aspinwall again.

The team at Aspinwall Baystate installed a new a.c. Unit at my home. The outside unit, the unit in the attic were replaced and they added two new ducts and vents. In addition they remove the old equipment.
All of the technicians were great. All were courteous and respectful of my home (and put up with my dog). They explained the process before beginning, answered all my questions, reviewed everything when they were finished and showed me how to operate the new thermostat. They did a thorough clean up as well. The new system works great - much quieter and should be more energy efficient. I definitely will recommend them to my neighbors.

Frank and Andrew were thorough checking out my heating system and did a great job. I will be warm this winter. 🥳. My heater needed a quick adjustment and was straightened out thanks to Frank and Andrew 😄

Update: I have updated the review and increased it to a 4 star rating as the owner did get back to me and we were able to work something out that was satisfactory for both parties. The owner was very understanding of the position I was in and they were able to schedule me in the following week to get the new compressor installed. I am happy to say that the system is now up and running and functioning as expected. I would use them again now that I know that they will stand by their work and work with their customers if things don't go exactly according to plan.

Original: We recently purchased our home and wanted to get a maintenance done on the HVAC systems. The air being blown out of the vents upstairs wasn't very cold and as we are expecting our first child in the next few months we wanted them to check it out to make sure it didn't have a leak. They were able to put me on the schedule very quickly which we were very appreciative of. The tech arrived on time and was very nice and professional. He checked everything and told us that he wasn't getting consistent pressures on the line so we needed to get a part ordered and replaced. We agreed to having the part ordered and replaced. Fast forward to a week later, the tech comes back to replace the part and get the system up and running. After several hours of working on the system we get the news from the tech that the outside condenser is now broken and we need to have that replaced. The unit was manufactured in 2016 so it is relatively new and we are being quoted $3500 to replace a unit that was functioning prior to the tech working on it. (The tech even admitted before he left that it was working when he started the job). I have contacted the store and the best they could do was not charge for the maintenance and the part that they replaced. I contacted the owner, left a voicemail and no response from him. I have used their services before with no issues but it looks like once there is an issue they don't seem to want to be of much help. Not too professional if you ask me, you show your true colors when things don't go as planned.

They did such an amazing job! Doing their best to accommodate things in my home - because sometimes the small spaces worked against them 😅 -, putting things back to how they were if things needed to be moved... At the end, when something wasn't working yet how they expected it would, they triaged and found the root cause and fixed it. I'm so happy to have the HVAC fixed just in time for the seasons to get chillier. Thank you to the team!
