The tech arrived and didn't do any troubleshooting or diagnostic investigation. My problem was hot water on second floor shower was not staying hot. The tech immediately said the tankless heater was installed incorrectly and it would be $3500 to fix, the systems been installed for 5 years... He then proceeds to charge me $400 for the non-productive visit.. Well I called another plumber who LISTENED to me and troubleshoot/diagnosed the problem to a mixer valve in the shower...

Just exceptional from start to finish. Got an appointment in a reasonable time; Aspinwall sent name and photo of technician (Jake) before arrival; technician was fantastic, explained everything and worked efficiently.

Aspinwall Baystate has done an excellent job of keeping my residential HVAC system running well over the years. They are easy to talk to over the phone and return service calls very quickly.

I recently called them for a condensation leak I started to experience. I got an appointment quickly, and the technicians showed up right on time for my appointment window. This happened not too long after Aspinwall was in for routine AC maintenance, so they sent over both the previous maintenance technician and an additional expert. This demonstrated a commitment to making sure jobs get done right. The technicians quickly identified the culprit as a drain pipe that became loose and misaligned, did a great job of explaining it to me with a photo, and talked through the fix they implemented. Best of all, they covered the visit under maintenance warranty. I couldn't say for sure whether something related to the maintenance caused the problem or not, but this was an excellent good-faith gesture and commitment to a quality outcome.

I'll be coming back for all of my AC maintenance/repair needs.

We had a gas inset fireplace installed into an existing wood burning fireplace. Dennis B and Danny S were extremely thorough, professional, efficient and patient. They worked well with my contractor answering all his questions and they were extremely thorough with educating us about the use of the fireplace. They take pride in their work and it shows. I would highly recommend them.

Jake and Rob were terrific. Personable, professional, found the answer to a fairly complicated diagnostic and explained it to me clearly in terms I could understand.

Very pleased with their service.

This was the second job that Andrew did for my apartment.
Same as the first time, he came on time within the bracket he promised. He came to replace my kitchen sink disposal.

The thing that I like to say about Andrew is his good attitude and personality.
One thing that stood out was when there was an unexpected rusted broken pipe (from the disposal)stuck in the downward drain pipe , he patiently went downstairs to get more tools and parts to creatively fixed the problem.

After the job is done,he checked to make sure the disposal works.
Also he cleaned up the workplace and took the old parts with him.

Overall, Andrew did an excellent job, well deserve my rating of 5 stars.

Very good communication and great service. We had Aspinwall supply and install our mini-split system. Chris came to our house and went over several system options and forwarded us cost breakdowns for all three. Once we decided the option we wanted we scheduled the installation. The Aspinwall crew (Jake W., Tommy S., Ryan T., and Antolin P) showed up on time and were very friendly and courteous. They explained everything being done and cleaned up after themselves. All in all we are very satisfied and would recommend them to our friends and family.

I had two faucets replaced. Andrew and Ronin were extremely professional and courteous, and they did a great job!
