Amazing. Our pool heater was not working. We called mid morning two techs came In by late morning. All fixed. Knowledgeable techs and very helpful. 5+ across the board. They also perform other services which we will certainly use.

Guy comes in with younger plumber. Asks where tankless water heater is. Polite enough. The purpose of the appointment was to run diagnostics on the water heater. I take him to the basement. He immediately takes notice that, in place of the Navien OEM manifold, the installer put a perfectly fine working bypass pipe to feed hydronic air handlers with hot water. So he gets all dramatic and theatrical about the piping being all wrong. I inform him that the particular problem that I’m having is the tankless is heating water — but it’s not exiting to the heating pipes despite the thermostat calling for heat. I tell him I suspect the motorized 3-way valve is busted and I have the part. He skips diagnostics and says let’s install the part FOR $1,800 DOLLARS. It’s a $75 part and you do have to remove the board and internal pump to get to it. But it’s 1.5 hours tops. So I tell him a flat “no” to his price. He tells me that $1,800 is a non-negotiable flat rate and since I refused in this case he’s leaving. I ask him why did he come in the first place then? He said to run diagnostics— but if I’m not going to fix anything, then he’s not doing any work, no charge for the visit. Then he got extremely dramatic again about the piping being all wrong and used that as an excuse why he’s leaving promptly and not going to even go near the unit. The whole time, his coworker is smiling and trying not to laugh. In my opinion, he tried to hussle me for $1,800 and left when he realized he couldn’t. Would not recommend. Go B.S. someone else.

The initial text & email announcing the employee was on his way was a good start, having his picture shown was a nice safety feature. Upon arrival he was very polite & professional, quickly recognized that my initial repair attempt was obviously poorly done, I bought and installed the wrong part ! Once he got the right part, a quick run to the store / shop, he had my shower leak fixed in no time. Cleaned up the minimal mess he made doing the repairs, asked if we were satisfied & if we had any questions. Would highly recommend Aspinwall & definitely use them again if / when my personal repairs don’t get the job done !!

I have a Naviencombo heater that provides heat and hot water. I lost both.
My unit was only a year And a half old.
I was under warranty but panicked.
I have guests coming over for the weekend and didn’t want to be without hot water.
I called from work, then left for home.
I live 20 minutes away from home.
Frank rolled up as I did. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in a hour and it wasn’t too expensive.

We called Aspinwall to repair our heating system. The issue was the circuit board. They had to secure the part. Two techs, Jake and another guy whose name I forget, arrived and replaced the board. They did a great job. They arrived when they said they would. Both were very knowledgeable and explained the situation clearly so I knew what was going on. Most importantly, they fixed our heat on a bitter cold day.

Updated review: we called Aspinwall for another issue with our heating system. Danny and another tech came this afternoon. They were here most of the afternoon double and triple checking everything to make sure the system was running as it should. They ended up having to swap out a couple of parts, one of which was under warranty. Both were really professional, very polite and very knowledgeable about the job. I would recommend Aspinwall to a friend.

Rob arrived as scheduled and performed the work on my AC unit that wasn't working. He did a great job, found the leak and repaired it promptly. I was very happy with his work.

Danny and Jim responded promptly to help with our gas insert. They quickly identified the problem and took care of it. They worked cleanly and were very easy to deal with. We’ve always had good luck with Aspinwall!
