Mike was personable and efficient. He diagnosed the problem quickly and replaced the capacitor for the air conditioner.
We would definitely use Cranney Home Services again.

Technicians came twice to evaluate the scope of the work. Both times they were very nice and professional. Unfortunate the quote was provided for the work was unreasonably high. I ended up hiring a different plumber, and the final cost was a fraction of the company's quote (in fact, 1/6 of the price). This was most disappointing.

Nick was awesome! He pinpointed the problem quickly, and was very patient explaining how it all works. I had four non-functional switches, and it turned out to be a melted neutral wire in the box. That service was installed by a very high fallutin' local electrician, and it's not the first problem I've had. Cranney was great (here in two hours), Nick was great, in and out of here in no time. I highly recommend them.

We needed a plumper on the weekend because of a leak in the basement. Nick was here within the hour, quickly figured out the problem and fixed what needed to be repaired. He was polite, helpful, and very efficient. Thank you Cranney and thank you Nick for helping us out so quickly.

Bought a Smart thermostat and had a problem with the installation. Called Cranney and a technician was here about an hour later. He completed the job and helped set up the App. Nick was fabulous!

Pete was very knowledgeable professional and kind. I was not able to get service this weekend because of the holiday. But Pete made sure I was the first service call on Tuesday. I would specifically request him for my next call to check my furnace for preventative maintenance. I feel like Cranney’s prices are higher then most, but they are dependable and they do a good job. Glad that I have a service contract with Cranney. It’s worth paying the monthly fee to be able to get a quick service call with a qualified tech in a time of need. It’s also helpful that the handle an array of home repairs. One stop shopping.

We called Cranney for water heater repair. The technician did not do a thorough assessment and couldn’t determine the exact issue. We were given 2 options, one which would cost almost $500 and another over $1100. If we chose the $500 option and it didn’t work we’d have to pay to do the $1100 alternative too. Or we could pay $1100 when it might not be necessary. What a terrible gamble. It turns out it was neither. It was a simple clog my husband (with zero plumbing/HVAC knowledge) fixed for free after watching some YouTube videos. We almost spent $500-$1600 for no reason. Will not be doing business with them and do no recommend.

I needed some electrical troubleshooting for a burning rubber/plastic smell coming from the kitchen area. Scott and his assistant took the time to diagnose and find the source. They thoroughly inspected the kitchen areas and identified the problem location. They were both very professional and transparent about what they were doing.
