D'Vante was awesome! He kept me updated on everything he did, was great with explaining all electrical issues and the plan to fix them. He was knowledgeable and displayed the utmost professionalism. He was also super sweet with my daughter! I Would highly recommend him and request him for any future needs!

Dren was beyond helpful and extremely thorough. He clearly explained each step of the process to me and showed me pictures to further show details. He was attentive to details and even made sure to ask for a broom to clean up behind himself. I had some installation and cleaning completed and Dren was above and beyond with his professionalism and work character. I'd be happy to have him back in my home for AC service. Thank you !

Daniel Herrarte fixed our hot water heater issue and was very professional and friendly. He showed up exactly when he said he would and was extremely knowledgeable about the install and explained everything about what was involved. He worked quickly but took enough time to do the job right and not rush through. I would definitely trust him to do any plumbing work and highly recommend him.

The service tech, Jeff, was friendly, professional, polite, patient and informative. He was aware of my plumbing concerns, conducted an assessment, explained what was needed, discussed cost of repairs, and completed the work. Jeff exhibited strong work ethics and provided the best customer service. He also spoke highly of his colleagues.

Edited to increase to 5 stars. Jacob and Dylan installed a new breaker box (not cheap! but necessary). They were on time, finished the work in good time, and cleaned up after themselves. They kept in touch throughout the day (we were at a friend's who had power). The office took care of arranging for power to be temporarily cut off and restored and also for the inspector. We feel confident in working with this company.

Both Elijah and his assistant were professional and personable. They took the time to test the system until the problem revealed itself, rather than assuming that I was just a batty old lady. Elijah explained exactly what our options were and then exactly what he was going to repair. The cost of the work was less than I expected (!). He also provided advice about future upgrades.

AccuTemp technician, Masin Ali, arrived in a timely manner. He put shoe covers on before entering our home. He communicated his plan to fix the problem we were having. He investigated thoroughly, determined the issue and corrected it in a timely manner. When he was done, he showed us pictures of the issue and then showed us pictures of how he fixed it and explained what he had done. 10/10 service.

Corbyn was very friendly and informative. He found the problem extremely quick. He also made repairs quickly. It was a pleasure doing business with this young man. I would rate him a 5 star employee of Accutemp.

I had the spring cleaning done on my HVAC unit a month ago. The technician was very polite and knowledgeable, just as all their techs are. That is the strong suit of AccuTemp, they have good people on the front lines. Due to this, I’ve usually looked the other way when it comes to pricing and estimates, but it has gotten way out of hand and is now insulting. It was found during the inspection that the UV bulb went out on my Air Scrubber (air purifier). I was quoted $510 to replace it, and that’s with a 15% discount due to being on the maintenance plan, so normally about $600. I read in the Air Scrubber instruction book that they will need replacement every two years, as that’s the typical lifespan of the bulb. I was not happy that AccuTemp didn’t disclose this before I purchased the unit for about $900 just over two years prior. Why would anyone buy this just to put over $600 into it every two years? I found out that AC companies charge $300, but for AccuTemp to normally charge $600?? (high price vs insultingly high). Well, I did research online and realize it’s very easy to replace the bulb myself, for about $75 (bulb and filter). No tools or anything required, just loosening of some screws and plug in the new bulb. This is where I finally had enough and had to draw a line with my services with AccuTemp with their rip-off estimates. They don’t know it yet, but I will be canceling all future services and my $25 monthly maintenance plan with them after typing this review. I was probably ripped off on my initial purchase of my unit with them, but have been mostly happy with the service. But there comes a point where it probably is not the best value or return. I also was quoted a year ago for a tankless water heater and a whole-home generator at $20,000. I didn’t say anything at the time, but that is way overpriced, by about $6,000-7,000 compared to other estimates. No matter how knowledgeable the employees, how great the service, how much overhead and investment Josh puts into his employees/company, when does it become overpriced to the customer? Even one of their electrical techs told me several years ago just to get the inspection that’s included in my maintenance plan. He said don’t dare have AccuTemp do the repairs unless you like overpaying and throwing money away. They will probably go through my files to try and see which tech would’ve have said that, but AccuTemp, you’re missing the point if you do. I know AccuTemp may respond and say they’re definitely not the cheapest, but the service and quality they provide makes it the best value (the company’s typical response to these kind of pricing reviews). I went along with that mantra for a while, but no matter how great the service, there’s a price cap on that which makes it not worth it anymore. So thanks for the good service the last several years, but I’m finally tired of your insulting and egregious pricing, which is sad because I like AccuTemp. I think AccuTemp is better suited to keeping contracts with big companies, such as LSU, not for residential customers.

P.S.—I can afford to pay the high prices, but there’s something about how you feel when you know you’re getting ripped off.
