Polar Bear Heating & Air

We have been using Polar Bear for several years now after a very bad experience with another HVAC company. Polar Bear has done a great job for us over the years. We have purchased a full HVAC system from them for rental property, a replacement A/C system for our upstairs furnace and also used them for maintenance work. They have always been great to work with.

The tech today, David, quickly found our A/C problem we were having with the last old style freon unit we have left. I was expecting the worst, since it's 25+ years old... and probably would have believed him if he had said the compressor was bad and the HVAC system needed replaced.

Instead, he found a capacitor that was bad and had us up and running in a few minutes. That kind of honesty is hard to find... and David impressed me with his friendly attitude and made us feel like he was there to help, not just to make a quick sale.

Service like that is why we are loyal customers of Polar Bear!

Had a new furnace and ac installed. They were very knowledgeable and responded to calls quickly. The techs that did the install, Josh and Jimmy, did very good work. I'm sure every installation is different, and they were prepared with all the tools, supplies, and parts they needed to perform the installation in a timely manner.

Michael came out and was on time, professional, and knowledgeable. He did not waste his time, but thoroughly went through opening up and inspecting my unit to ensure it was in proper working order. Would recommend to anyone looking for regular HVAC system maintenance.

Bad for a $700 job.

We had an odor coming out of the vents when switched from heat to AC. Called Polar Bear and they had someone come out the next day to check things out. Decided on a vent/duct cleaning and LED light installation. Willie McKenzie and Jared Conley came out right after the holiday to complete the job. They were on time, professional, and very considerate of our pets. They took the time to answer our questions and made sure the unit and light were working before they left. We are very please with the work they did and how quickly everything was taken care of. Great service, thank you!

Wonderful experience! Jimmy and I believe Matt, were both amazing. They installed our new HVAC unit. They were kind, courteous, and worked so efficiently. The space was small and they were able to get the job done and went above and beyond to make everything look great.

Dave Greene was the technician who was dispatched to a rental property for us. Dave was very professional and explained very thoroughly what the cause was for the rental property heat pump to not be working properly. Explained what parts were needed, and the information provided was better than spot on! The parts arrived exactly on time, when he said they would and Dave was there even before the scheduled time to get the replacement parts installed. Weather was not favorable this day. Cloudy, cold, rainy and on the verge of our coldest temps we had seen yet for this time of year (December). Dave worked right through the horrible weather and had both replacement parts installed within 2 hours. Hats off to the Polar Bear team and more specific parts and especially Dave Greene! I had never used Polar Bear in the past, but sure wish i did. You have certainly found a new customer in me. Thank you to everyone at the Polar Bear team! Knock out job, Dave!!

It was the power board and they came out very quick the same day I called them . Ask for Kyle …he did a very good job. Answered all of our questions. Plus they r going to check my duck work tomorrow . And thats a diff person . But top notch service. Recommend them to anyone.
