Overland Park Heating & Cooling

My system was installed in 2001, I have Overland Park Heating & Cooling perform spring/fall check ups every year. For the first 10 years my system was covered under warranty, twice repairs were required and handled quickly. This company has never been late, or failed to show. The technicians are professional and well trained. I have been a satisfied customer for 15 years!

I wouldn’t use this company again! I called Overland Park Heating and Cooling because they had put the original furnace in our house and it wasn’t working correctly. The service rep diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me a tiered price depending on how much I wanted to spend. I chose the package that fixed the problem, checked all the other systems to make sure they were running properly and gave me a 30 day guarantee. The first time the furnace kicked back on after he left there was a loud ticking noise in my kitchen above the furnace and it continued to do that every time the furnace came on. I called them back and they gave me the run around about having someone come look at it even though I had paid over $500 for a 20 minute fix and 30 day guarantee. After many phone calls, they finally agreed to come out without charging me another service fee and then preceded to tell me that the noise had nothing to do with their repair and gave me a laundry list of things it could be instead. I am an engineer so I sort of know how things work and am not stupid. Any of the things they listed would have been happening already before they came to repair it if that was the problem. Needless to say, I will be moving on to a more helpful and knowledgeable alternative.

Don J was the Technician who serviced our 2 furnaces yesterday. He was punctual, thorough, knowledgeable, and great to work with. He took the time to discuss/explain his findings and recommendations. I would highly recommend this company and Technician.

I was very impressed with Overland Park Heating and Cooling over the holiday weekend. Our furnace stopped working and even though they were not about to get the part the same day they set us up with temporary heat. The next day when they received the part they finished fixing the furnace. Considering it was a holiday weekend their prices were very reasonable. The technician and the office staff were very pleasant and helpful.

I've been with OPHC for over 25 years. They always send out pros who do a great job. Before I sold my business I had them to that installation for me too. Very satisfied over the years with the job and their rates as well.

Very honest contractor. I needed a HVAC return line moved - he came out to give quote and he figured out that I only needed to block off the line and tap into another line a few feet over - saving me hundreds of dollars and lots of work.

Nice guy too - was on time, put on booties for coming in our home - overall, a great experience.

Our air conditioner blower went out and Overland Park Heating & Cooling provided great response to diagnose the problem and timely repair. I'm so happy I called Overland Park Heating and Cooling! They installed a brand new water heater and hauled away the old one. While they were there, they overheard my furnace making a lot of noise and actually serviced my furnace after they finished the install of my water heater! It was amazing! They were so knowledgeable and so nice. I'm still awe struck by there thoroughness.

Had Ryan out to my home to fix issues I was having and couldn't be happier with the service I received. He was fast courteous and was able to explain everything that was wrong with my system. Usually I feel like service companies add problems just to rack up more of a bill but not with Ryan from Overland Park Heating and Cooling, he really showed the effort to make me feel like I wasn't being taken.

Chris Whitworth, the technician, was very professional. He performed the spring maintenance, cleaned the outside unit, showed me a defective part on the A/C unit, replaced the faulty part, and had us up and running in short order. We have always been happy with the excellent service provided by OP Heating and Cooling, and highly recommend them.
