Cool Heat KC LLC

Just finished last week the installation of 2 Mitsubishi heat pump compressors combined with 5 air handlers, including both ducted and ductless in 5 zones. From our perspective, this was a relatively big job, with some interesting complexities in our 1967 era 3-level home previously heated by 2 propane furnaces.
Starting a year ago, we had sought bids from local Mitsubishi contractors who previously had done work for us or for neighbors. Both of them initially expressed interest in our project, and then ghosted us.
We ultimately found CoolHeatKC online and were most impressed by reviews indicating responsiveness, along with their Diamond level Mitsubishi credentials. We concur with those other 5-star reviews.
Rick, Christine, and Shawn each responded promptly and professionally to all communications regarding plans, estimates, bids, scheduling, installation, payment, and one follow up visit today to reprogram a KumoCloud module and thermostat.
Bo and Zach were not just easy to work with on the 4-day install, but were also easy-going and good-natured despite inevitable challenges encountered in an older home retrofit. They went the extra mile to run copper and electrical lines in ways least obstructive even in an attic storage area. They did so again in regard to aesthetics when running exterior lines and in the placement of compressors. Bo and Zach even volunteered to help me move in place a heavy new hybrid hot water heater for which I was doing a self-installation during the HVAC install.
We anticipate using CoolHeatKC for future HVAC upgrades in other family properties, and will be recommending them to friends and neighbors.

I found Cool Heat KC through the Mistibushi contractors list (they're a Diamond Elite partner). I was looking for a modern ducted Heat Pump system to replace my air conditioner and gas furnace. They came out, found a unit sized to fit my needs, and quickly gave me a quote. I also talked to 1 other contractor in the area and they came in at a lower price & were way more responsive. When I agreed to the quote, they were out within a week and completed the whole operation (removal of old units & installation of new) in a single day. Unit is working great, and I couldn't be happier. These guys are doing a great job!

They were great to work with. They were thorough from start to finish, prompt, no surprises, gave options, addressed my concerns, and work was done efficiently. I got quotes from several companies and they were by far the best in every aspect. It had snowed a great deal the day before the installation. They kept my floors and all areas clean, even insisted on wiping down the floor completely when they were done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Zach came out for my annual A/C maintenance. He was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable as I had a few questions about my system. He took the time to answer my questions. I would recommend asking for him.

Just had Mario come by and perform troubleshooting on our older model AC unit. He was professional and very personable. He not only fixed the problem quickly but took the time to show us exactly what he was doing and why. It was refreshing to see such honesty and kindness from a business. After finding our home with no cool air, we called Cool Heat KC. Christine was helpful and professional, getting us an appointment the very next day. (2 other companies had at least a week before they could come out.)Mario showed up on time and was an absolute pleasure. He quickly diagnosed the problem and happily showed us his troubleshooting and what the problem was, being kind and transparent. He told us about their yearly maintenance plan, (I think we will get it, great value). And finally brought a second working capacitor and showed it compared to the old one. This was unnecessary but a great way to help us feel comfortable With the service. All in all a great experience and we will continue working with Cool Heat KC as long as we live in their service area. Great group of people!

We really appreciated that they were able to send a technician out quickly. Zach was SO nice & professional. He was great at explaining what he would be doing & looking for as well as what he found to be the problem. We're lucky to be able to keep our 18 y/o system going for now. We'll probably need a new unit soon & will definitely be using them for that. Service was great & made me feel like they were honest & trustworthy.
