Kelly Heating installed the furnace and air conditioner on our new home in 2021. Before a year was up they were out to our home multiple times for repairs and replacement of parts. We signed a service agreement with them and paid a few hundred dollars when they came out to work on the furnace. The billing person informed us months after their service that we had additional charges. She insisted that they couldn't have possibly forgotten to send out a bill and accused us of refusing to pay for services. She was incredibly rude and condescending. We agreed to pay for the charges so that we could get out of the service contract. We won't be using them in the future and wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.
Absolute worst company in the way of professionalism ever. If they were the last company left and my heat or AC went out I would suffer through it and not call them.
They were very prompt in showing up. Called our landlord, he contacted Kelly's and within all of about 3hrs the furnace was fixed. The repairman listened to what we had troubleshooter and knew exactly from there whst to look at next and was correct and fixed within minutes of arrival!
My house was 55 degrees when the tech. came to check my furnace. He did an outstanding job, answered all my questions. Very professional. Yes, I will call them again for all my heating issues & air conditioning in the summer.
Since install of our new home hvac system with home humidifier and fireplace it’s been nothing but problems. Immediately after install the humidifier would not work. 3 separate technicians came out each saying the other did it wrong, the last one said that they don’t really work and this is what it is. The first summer we had no air conditioning on the upstairs unit. The refrigerant was gone. When we called to have it looked at we were informed that we were out of the service area (we are 21 miles from them) and would have to pay an additional fee to have it looked at despite them installing it and it not working within a year. They then didn’t show up and we had to have another company come. The leak has continued and has been filled 3x with no leak detected at the units so coming from line somewhere. The furnace went out and we were told again that we were out of service area (fortunately yet another company (Iltens) was able to replace the circuit board and even covered it under warranty. The second air conditioning unit has also lost refrigerant now. It’s unfortunate that a company won’t stand behind the equipment they install even when the products are under warranty.
This is the first time I write a google review. You are welcome, Kelly. They simply refused to provide services after I tested the power of transformer!!! First, the tech came and took a look at the furnace and made a comment that the work would require more time than he expected and he need to arrange that with the company, I thought he was taking his tools after he explained to his company. However, he left and never come back after so long waiting !!! Next day, I gave another call to Kelly, they replied that" Your board was "tore apart" and tech can't work on someone else job". ???, Excuse me? I plugged the wires back in less than 2 mins, what was tore part??? From my perspective, they are unprofessional because they were exaggerating the problem and incompetent to fix it. Additionally, they are rude, dismissive and condescending because they leave customers in dark and you have to chase after them, the worst part is that at the end they rejected the business when I kindly request another appointment. The message is pretty much like "call someone else, we are super busy". ??? I completely understand it's summer time and they are busy making money, but please don't be so ugly while you are making money...ugh!
I never write reviews of companies, but If there is something below 1 star , I would give it to this company. I called a "technician" 1 week ago to come inspect my non-working furnace since Kelly heating installed it. The tech came out in under 1 hour, looked at my furnace for 5 minutes and said I had a bad ignition control board. He offered to replace it for $500 + labor, to which I declined since the part is only close to 120 new (quick google search) and I felt like they were taking advantage of me during this terrible weather. I paid the $110 for a service call and the tech left. I ordered the part myself based on their diagnosis and replaced it (which is swapping wires - a 5 year old could do it) and my furnace is still having the same problem!
Not only did they misdiagnose the problem but when I called back to have someone to come back and correctly diagnose the issue, they said they would have to charge me OVERTIME to come see it. Rude service, bogus "technicians" and terrible customer support. never again, stay away!
I’ve used Kelly for the past 7+ years, and they’ve always provided outstanding service. Technicians I’ve had have been kind and efficient, and they explain things whenever I ask questions. Our furnace quit working once, and a tech came within hours. The furnace was under warranty so I didn’t have to pay anything more for the service or part replacement. I’d recommend them for anyone in the IC area.
Great service! Called on Monday to get my air conditioner serviced and the technician arrived 2 hours later on a hot/busy day. Technician was knowledgeable and keep me updated on what he was doing/fixing. Price for work was very reasonable given the work done. Would definitely use again for future issues.
Last winter, came home from work to find that my heat was out. Called Kelly Heating, who had installed my furnace less than two years ago- they came out relatively quickly to find that a defective part was responsible (they had replaced a number of them that same day). The part was replaced under warranty, it was approximately a 10 minute service call, for which I was charged $192 for overtime labor at 7 pm on a weeknight. I am irate that the company made such a profit off of me on a known defective part. I understand that you have to pay your service man, but still - what poor customer service. Never again will I do business with this company.
