Irish Air Heating & Cooling

My furnace was blowing cool air and my smart thermostat was powered down. After several google searches and attempts to fix it myself, I called Irish Air. The dispatcher was friendly and responsive. I texted my name, address, and email address. Within half an hour Joe was at our door. He was friendly, professional and experienced, fixed the issue quickly, and offered advice for how to avoid it happening again. Online videos are often helpful, but if I’d valued my time and frozen toes, I would have called Irish Air sooner - Joe’s experience was well worth it!

Tim Jones is an exceptional communicator and provided reliable repair in a timely manner. What moved me to write this review was not the value of service, but Tim's character: he took time to throughly explain the issue and genuinely was invested in finding me the most affordable and durable fix to my problem. He is obviously in the business because he finds reward in helping people to the best of his ability. I will look forward to working with Tim in the future if I have issues.

Jim and Jake from Irish Air were very professional and prompt when evaluating our HVAC issues and suggesting a replacement. We had an exceptional sales and installation experience and would not consider going anywhere else in the future.

I had a large amount of water pool around my HVAC unit in the basement. I did as much as I knew to do, but the problem continued. I called Irish Air and was told someone could come out same day. Right away, I could tell a difference in this company, because whoever scheduled my appointment seemed to be calm overall and also confident in their technician’s service.

Joseph was my asssigned technician, and he was clear, concise, polite, honest, and knowledgeable. He thoroughly investigated the problem, fixed it, explained to me what went wrong, why it happened, and what I can do to prevent it from happening again in the future. He also gave me a heads up on what to keep an eye out for- as my AC unit is getting near its last days but isn’t quite ready to go yet.

As a single female homeowner, I am often nervous when hiring companies in fields I know little about. This experience proved to me that Irish Air is a company I can trust, and they’re definitely who I will hire in the future for regular maintenance and future purchases- whenever I do need to buy that new AC unit. :)

Update 1/4/2022: Called them today when I lost heat, and they came right out, fixed the problem.. just wonderful!

Read this………. It is an honest review, and Carmel has too many roundabouts. Westfield is having a contest with them to try and outdo Carmel.

The initial replacement of the original contractor heat pump was done in 2010. We were demanding customers bidding out the work to a multitude of contractors. IA was within 5% of the lowest bid which came from a guy with a truck that was unbonded. Being sane, we went with IA and the install went very well.

About a year later the system threw an error code and we called again and response time was top notch and the issue immediately addressed under warranty.

For 12 years the system ran flawlessly.

Sunday night it threw an error code and panicking and seeing IA’s hq was now on the south side we made the mistake of calling a local company here on the North Side. They were timely but completely out of their depth sending a second tech out on Monday to continue diagnosis. Emergency guy broke a wire the Monday guy fixed. I had had it.

Called IA and the gentleman that had originally sold us the system called me back within minutes of talking to their office. This was late Monday. Tuesday morning by 9:45am the system was back up and running like a top. The tech was personable, knowledgeable and professional. The bill was more than fair on top of that. A pleasure, as much as that can be, to pay the bill. Lesson learned.

In home maintenance I have learned some stuff. Vinyl windows are a scam and give some cash to the Window World (best prices) sub contract installers to make it wort their while to do a good job. (We shopped them all… a nickel worth of diff in quality… between the makers…. and install is the secret to them and WW skimps there, not on the windows much)

If you need HVAC system design, install or service as a homeowner in central Indiana make your FIRST call to Irish Air. Quality in HVAC stuff is much greater than in vinyl windows but as with the windows, the installers/maintainers are more important.

My outside AC unit was not turning on. I contacted Irish Air and they sent a technician the same day. Joseph was polite and very knowledgable. He said that a repair done last year contributed to the problem. He repaired it and charged up the unit with refrigerant and then proceeded to say that the repair was free. I was so impressed with his honesty. Actually I was shocked that I was not charged. He could have very well had told me what he found, fixed the problem, added the refrigerant and then charged me for the repair. I would not have known any better. I had switch to Irish Air last year from another leading repair company and am truly glad that I did. I have more than one HE Carrier Units and will continue to use Irish Air. They are the best and I have been impressed with their opinion as what should be repaired vs replaced. They are very competitively priced. Last year their competitor wanted to replace my AC unit. A second opinion from Irish Air offered a repair that fixed the problem at a fraction of the cost of replacement. I highly recommend Irish Air for your HVAC services especially if you have a Carrier unit. Should I have any problems in the future or need a replacement, the first call will be to Irish Air! I value their opinion and their honesty.

1st checkup since installation. Checked main unit in attic. Explained thermostat system & how to use. Installed new filters so system will work more efficiently. Closed fan unit to huge attic fan. Answered all questions we had.

Our A/C went out just in time for the temps to ramp up. It was very easy to book an appt with Irish Air. They came right on time, were very friendly, and able to solve our A/C issues within the day. 10/10 would recommend.

On the hottest day of the year Irish air was super responsive and did a major repair for us totally covered by our warranty with them. Great job Irish air! And Joel Stewart, our technician, was excellent both in customer service, friendliness, and professionalism. I recommend this company for your AC and heating needs
