Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling

We had a new AC system installed by Summers two years ago and have not been any too pleased with their work. The installers and service folks are friendly, but unfortunately that's where the good ends. When we had the system installed, the installer left a drainage plug out of the condensation catch tray which subsequently caused water to leak from the unit and run into my finished basement. They also left copper tubing hanging from the unit down three feet into my basement. I had to fix both of these issues, which weren't difficult to fix, but should have never happened in the first place. Skipping forward to this year, we had our first scheduled system servicing. The service man was friendly but seemed like he was more interested in using his phone than in servicing my AC unit. After he left I noticed that the outdoor unit was still full of leaves and debris (I live in a woods). So, I had to clean that stuff out of it. We ran it for the first time this year and guess what, my basement flooded again! The water drainage tube did not get checked and was clogged. So, I had to clean that out myself as well. What is the point of a service call if I still have to service it myself afterwards?? They seem like nice people, but unfortunately we have just had too many issues.

We have nothing but good things to say about summers. We have used them for plumbing, heating, and air conditioning. They are very dependable. They take an extensive amount of time to explain what they did after the fact. Every person that has come into our home has been very respectful. At one point, we couldn’t get our air to work. They came out, realized it was just a switch that need to be flipped and ended up not charging us for it. We definitely recommend this company as we will continue to use as well-a stand out heating and air company for sure!

I realized our AC wasn’t working at 4:15 on Tuesday (they close at 4:30), I called and they said they were able to get someone out first thing in the morning. When Tyler arrived, he was able to quickly diagnose our issue and get it taken care of before the house started heating up much. Today is forecast to be in the 90’s, and I don’t handle the heat well. I have never had an issue with having to wait for service, but this was exceptionally quick and sooo appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Summer’s!

My new Air BNB in Ft. Wayne was visited by Ryan to do my A/C tune up, and assess everything else for me in regard to my A/C unit. He went way above and beyond explaining things to us and giving us a snap shot of our current and future needs. Ryan is very knowledgeable and profesional.

They were able to fit us in on very short notice for a plumbing issue. Bailey the tech was great and explained everything and showed pictures of the issue before and after. Highly recommend.

Summers came out a few months ago and replace our heating system. They did an awesome job! Today Tyler came out for our system maintenance check up and was amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything and showed me things that could need replaced in the future. Hands down I will be requesting Tyler to come back again for our next maintenance check up.

Adam was professional, educated in his field, compassion and was just a God Send. He explained what he was doing every step of the way. Never once did I feel like a customer. He made me feel like a relative . He has pride in his work and customer care to the 10th power. He is the only one I want from this company moving forward.

Jeff was the best! We are so happy with our service contract with summers. We never worry about our furnace or air conditioning anymore. Their service is great and prompt and their prices are amazing!

Had Giles from Summers redo all the 70 year old pipes in our small bathroom. He did an fabulous job and cleaned up afterwards. Now we feel safe installing the drywall.

So glad I signed up for the discount plan with Summers. It included free checks and cleaning of the AC and Heat. They just cleaned all the cottonwood out of my AC unit - NO CHARGE. The tune up is the best.

Adam arrived on time, was professional, and provided an honest service on our air conditioner. Gave us many options for repair and future replacement of our unit. We highly recommend Summers!

Greeted with a smile. Professional attitude but yet friendly and accommodating to my home environment. Payment plan was offered and definitely a plus. Perform the task at hand and at the same time didn’t tell me that there was Hundreds of dollars of work that needed to be done that would be overwhelming to me. Great experience and plan to have them back to assist me with many more projects.
