While we were out of the country on vacation, a meter reader came by, smelled gas, and turned off the gas supply. Our adult kid was house sitting our high school kid and had no gas for heat.

Crystal Valley had installed our HVAC (but not the pool heater that was leaking). I called them after hours. A tech called me back within 20 minutes. He agreed to check it out after he finished up with another job. I got a text when the job was accepted and a while later that it had been completed. He capped the line easily that the gas company would not touch. Invoice came in well under the ball park estimate (that I would have gladly paid) and the work was completed around 9pm. Nipsco came out the same night and turned the gas back on.

Crystal Valley came through for us, in a tough scenario when we were thousands of miles away. Quickly, efficiently, with great communication along the way.

Eugene the service tech was right on time and thoroughly checked out my heat pump to solve an issue. In addition he showed me more options that I was not aware were available on my remote controller.

Coming back with thermostat to replace our old one. Hopefully this will fix our problem of sporadic heating during switching between heat pump and back-up propane furnace.

Friends of ours told they needed to replace their furnace and AC unit to the tune of $24,000. They were told all kinds of things that were red flags. I had a guy I use and trust go over to give a second opinion… fixed the furnace for less than $500. Dishonest business practice.
