Terrible company to deal with. I had them out to fix my AC. Was told that I had a bad capacitor. They replaced it and the AC still wouldn't work so they said I needed a new thermostat and they had one for $400, I said I'll get my own thanks. Bought one for $100 at Menards and put it on and the AC still wouldn't work. I had LaPine come look at it, they found that Crystal Valley replaced the bad capacitor with another bad capacitor. They changed it and it worked great. I called Crystal Valley and asked for the money back for the bad capacitor, I even drove 40 mins to their location to give them back the bad capacitor. I didn't ask for the service call money back, just the $154 dollars for the capacitor. I was told that I could not have a refund, once the product was in, it was mine. Even though it never worked! I was told I could have $40 back, I said the receipt says the capacitor was $154. They said that $114 was the installation charge. I watched the guy from LaPine change the capacitor in 5 minutes. It had quick change connections on it. The guy from LaPine told me a capacitor cost about 10-15 dollars. These guys at Crystal Valley are rude and they are crooks. I will NEVER deal with them again.
