When faced with a costly repair to our old central air conditioner unit, we started to look at replacing the entire HVAC system and a local company to do the job. It was going to be a big bite in our budget, which made the choices all the more difficult. Pro Temp's sales representative, Jamie, was exceptionally patient, accessible, and prompt - without pressure - in his replies to my questions, no matter how small. He gave us confidence in our decision-making and attended to every step of the process. When it came time for the installation, the company sent three of its staff, who were courteous, safety conscious, efficient, and professional for the day they were at our home. Start to finish, and under tight financial circumstances, we feel we received an excellent product at an affordable cost. And, importantly, trust was maintained throughout. I highly recommend Pro Temp and intend to use them for all of my future HVAC needs.

Excellent value and service! Jamie made sure we were taken care of when our furnace broke down. With temperatures at -4° he had someone come out the very next morning. Can't recommend them enough!

Pro Temp’s team came out when promised, they were very professional, did a great job, were very efficient and cleaned up when they were done. Other companies that I recieved estimates on wanted to replace things that didnt need to be replaced. Pro temp was the first company I spoke to for an estimate and I would have saved alot of time and headache if I had just stopped there.
The gentlemen that put in the furnace were fantastic and did a great job. Whole process was done 4.5 hours. THEY NOW HAVE A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE! I WILL BE REFERRING EVERYONE I KNOW TO THEM FOR ANY HVAC NEEDS.

I have used Protemp for years. Very professional, quick, and great pricing! During my last experience, the crew went to great lengths to ensure that my furnace (which had just failed the night before- of course, during a cold snap) couldn't be repaired. After spending at lest two hours cleaning and diagnosing, it was determined that the heat exchanger was bad. By the following morning, I had a crew of two out that installed my new Lennox furnace. The rep gave me options based on my needs (I chose the top of the line, two stage, high efficiency furnace as I plan on being in my home for several years). The crew spent several hours ensuring that my gas lines were good (they ended up replacing some), making sure my exhaust lines were clear and pitched correctly (and they weren't), and also spent additional time making sure that the supply lines had more bracing on them to ensure that they didn't make loud noises. After the install, the rep followed up to make sure everything went well, he registered my rebate for me through NICOR and then also registered my Lennox rebate for me. Can't say enough.... above and beyond service is about the best way to describe it.

ProTemp was simply OUTSTANDING from the initial contact with Jamie, the installation of our new AC unit by Dave and Alex as well as the follow up by Jamie! I was especially pleased when Jamie was able to arrange the installation within a couple of days which was very important to me due to allergy issues that I have. Jamie was very helpful with what our options were as far as units. We are extremely pleased that we went with the Elite unit and it is amazingly quiet! I strongly recommend ProTemp of Illinois for any of your future HVAC needs! We will for all of our future needs! We have already told some friends and family members just what a fine job ProTemp did! You won't be disappointed if you utilize their services!

I was very happy with the price and quality from ProTemp of IL. I contacted a few other Lennox installers and they were much more expensive. And after reading the reviews for ProTemp of IL it seemed as though they were highly regarded for quality installations even with being a bit cheaper than the other two Lennox installers that I contacted. The installation went very smooth with one minor detail that needed fixing later. Jesse was very attentive in getting the issue resolved, even after a couple weeks as the weather cooled off and I couldn't run the A/C right away. I was very pleased with them for such a huge investment and would recommend ProTemp of IL.
