Fritch installed a furnace and an a/c unit in our oldler home. They only looked at square footage of the house to size the units and didn't look at the full picture to see if the ducts where adequate. At the time I didn't know enough about HVAC to know any better but would have thought a professional heating company would have. I ended up having someone else come look at my system as it didn't cool well. He immediately knew what the issue was after being in the home for ten minutes. He ran new air ducts and changed the air flow around on others. Making some returns into supply lines and vice versa. This helped a ton. The other problems with Fritch stemmed from the installation which had several problems that cropped up and had to be fixed every now and then (had wiring issues, incorrectly ran intake outside causing the furnace to stop working during heavy snow and poor job installing the themostat for the whole house humidifier). Plus when I'd had enough I and I called to complain the manager, Angie I think?, told me I should have bought their service/maintenance plans. As if I deservered these problems because I didn't sign up for one of their plans. Now I will say the workers they send out to do the repair calls are top notch no problems on that end and was always happy with them getting me back up and running.

I just moved into this house... so I have a Lennox unit now. I called two different companies before I called Fritch to look at our unit. You really don't have much to compare to until you have three companies in you home within a week. The Fritch tech stands tall about the rest in thoroughness. I have no need to use any other company again.

We needed a furnace and an A/C unit. Garber came out to look at our current system and to give us an estimate. They then set up two appointments to re new the quote but they never showed for either.

We went with Fritch's and had our furnace and A/C installed within a week of our call the day after Garber stood us up for the second/last time.

We were very pleased with how quickly the guys from Fritch's got our units installed and how respectful they were of our time and home.

We bought our house in 2014 with a "new" furnace (installed 2014) and knowing we needed to replace the air conditioner soon. This new furnace had been giving us problems all through the past 2 winters. Sucking filters in, sounding like a helicopter, and not working all happened in just our first winter there. Eventually we came to accept that our furnace would just always sound like a Black Hawk was landing in our basement, echoing through our entire home, killing us softly with its song.

I decided to be proactive this year and get a jump on replacing the A/C that had been cobbled together for a few seasons. I got estimates from a few different companies on Angieslist. Joseph from Fritch was the only one that said "wow your system is too new to be that loud" and then provided a solution to that problem. The problem was that the cheap furnace install that was done was patched, scratched, and whacked together and wasn't allowing any sort of decent air intake. The dying elephant in my basement just was choking. So he gave me two very straight forward options to install a new A/C and/or fix the sheet metal portions. The options were right in the neighborhood I was expecting to spend, a pleasant surprise because I assumed, for no real reason at all, that Fritch would be more expensive than the others.

They arrived at 8AM sharp to start working on the A/C and furnace fixes. Two guys worked the entire day. They tore apart the entire furnace area, rebuilding it to look like it wasn't put together by a blind man. The house was eerily quiet all day with no screams of pain from the furnace area. When they came up to tell us they were done, I assumed he meant for the day. I asked when they'd be back in the morning. He said they were done and everything was running. I couldn't hear it. At all. It was strange. A calm came over my mind like a state of hvac nirvana. I had trouble sleeping that first night without my protective detail in the helicopter flying overhead. It was an overall fantastic job, affordable, quality, and so on. I would highly recommend them to anyone. And they were the same price as the "cheap" option!
