We had to have a technician out right away due to leaking water from our AC system. Not only do they offer the emergency service but they don’t go right to the most expensive repair. They got to the issue and fixed it. They won our loyalty.

They installed two furnaces for us today and did an amazing job! They said they would be here at 8am and they were on time. They installed both furnaces at the same time to help with cost. They cleaned up our entire furnace room and most of the stuff on the floor was from us trying to fix it on our own. So not only did they clean up their mess but ours as well, without being asked to. The furnaces work fantastic and the room is spotless! Highly recommend!

We'd been using Fritch for about 3 years now and were very impressed with their response time and repair costs. When our 30 year old Lennox system finally gave up, we had Tony give us a quote. There was no pressure, only sound advice. We had the system installed while we were on vacation and found a clean install and everything looked great and was cleaned up. Excellent company with excellent employees. Very pleased and wouldn't use anyone else.

Nice folks, great service. The technicians are always very complementary of our giant steam boiler, and they have taught me the basics of maintaining it. There was a small billing mix up on a recent radiator installation, and they were super responsive in correcting the issue and making sure the billing reflected the work. I highly recommend.

Fritch is probably ok if you have a very basic HVAC system, but if it involves servicing more technical equipment, they seem to fall short. They installed a new thermostat and humidistat for me in my last house and wired it wrong. A second technician got the humidifier working somewhat, but said they’re not used to working on higher-end equipment. I recently moved to a condo, and they refuse to service my building because they say the systems are too poorly designed (they installed one of the HVAC systems in my apartment several years ago for the previous owner, but won’t service it now). The woman I spoke with said their experienced technicians all retired.

Update to my first review: Tony, the on call technician this weekend, did an excellent job of coming to our home and attempting to diagnose the issue. While he was not able to fix the problem and we still do not have AC at this time, he did say that he will do whatever he can tomorrow to speak to Joseph and attempt to get our AC in working order. Tony was kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. We know that ours is an older house, and making newer units work with older homes can be a challenge. It is frustrating to be without AC at this time, but we will get the issue resolved.

The only other comment I would make would be this:
Be very careful to read the details of your installation if you are using the Ameren Home Efficiency Program to aid you in getting a more energy efficient home. Though the installation process was professional and the cost out of pocket was low - we still have a brand new system that is not working, and we were only given a 1 year labor/repair warranty when the typical labor/repair warranty for a normal installation is 5 years. Had the communication been more up front in the beginning, I would have purchased an additional warranty to keep things like this from being a problem.

All in all, Fritch has done a great job of installing a product, but time will tell on how they are able to maintain this product in my home. I am not out to "get" this company - however, since I have a potential fire hazard in my home only a year after getting a new system installed, I am posting these reviews to hopefully get someone's attention that something might not be 100% correct. Whether it was installed on a breaker that doesn't support the amperage, or if it is a wiring issue in the home, or a hardware issue with the unit itself - as long as we can get this fixed and continue to enjoy cool air from our AC, that is my priority. I hope that Fritch will make this a priority as well.

Fritch has serviced my 50+ year old boiler, as well as two new air conditioner installations recently. They're fair, honest, hard working, and competitive in pricing. Their service work is excellent. I have an old home in an old neighborhood, where it takes a level of skill to work on these old systems, which is why I see their trucks in my neighborhood almost on a daily basis. They also replaced all of the roof top units on my commercial buildings due to a hail storm. Same experiences.

No one wants or needs furnace issues with the frigid, winter temperatures however with our Fritch service contract I am confident we will be taken care of. We have had Fritch for your years and highly recommend their services.
