I highly recommend Master Mechanical. We have used a few other HVAC companies in the NW suburbs in the past and they don't even compare to the service you get from Master Mechanical. Tom goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just right.

We had an issue with our air conditioner and called one service. The tech came out, said it was just dirty, did some surface clearing/cleaning, charged us a full repair and took off. Air conditioner worked for a very short time and then failed again. We called Tom with MM, he came out and immediately determined that the ball bearings were worn. He replaced them and his bill was on par with the first bad servicer's bill. We have never used anyone else since. Tom is totally professional, really knows what he's doing, is reasonable and absolutely honest and hardworking. This is the service you want for preventive maintenance and repairs.

Victor was great, he recommended a new thermostat for me without being pushy. He also got the maintenance done very timely.

My TRANE air conditioner was diagnosed and service at "warp 10" speed (for TREKIES). So transparent unobtrusive I hardly knew he was here. Forget about going to these high profit large service companies. Tom is one of the best professionals I have ever dealt with.

I called Tom around 11 he showed up around 1 it was -7 outside and my furnace was not getting the house warmer than 63. Tom spent a an hour going over all of the trouble codes and the issue ended up being his guess which wasn't in the trouble codes.
Turned out the problem was that my AC coil was clooged with dust and the furnace kept overheating because of it. Tom's initial assessment was that we would need to remove the coil and clean it $400-$500 and not something that could be done until spring, he then went the extra mile and found a way to access the coils and offered me the option of cleaning them myself to save money.
I can dust and vacuum so I went for it and my furnace is working great! Tom could have milked this for another 2 hours and that would have added another $160 to the bill, instead he offered to come back to put the panel back in place.
I will be calling him to service the furnace in the spring!

Have used this company in the past and most recently for thermostat issue. Very professional and no high pressure sales techniques as with some other HVAC companies. Would highly recommend.

The technician is amazing, however they have the worst customer service. I have been hung up on and talked to like an idiot. When explaining these i get interrupted and talked over. The customer service of those who answer the phones is awful

Prompt and knowledgeable. Service was quick and easy fix.

Tom and his care have been servicing our hvac for years. Goes above and beyond. Has maintained our units very well and quickly replace/installed when needed.
