In my 56 years of home ownership, I've dealt with many HVAC companies. I feel very lucky to have found Ibbotson Heating.
They originally came very highly recommended by someone who knows the field. In 2009, I bought a new furnace from them (still works great), and in 2023, a central humidifier. I'm extremely happy with the results. They are so much better than others in their field in so many ways that my list of their virtues would be very long. They not only know their stuff, but they told me the truth, even when it would've meant not making a sale. Treating me honestly was more important to them than making a buck; I feel like a friend, not a customer.

We had a water heater installed yesterday. Justin and Brian could not have been more wonderful. Ibbotson came out on the same day that we called. Grateful that they could since I know how busy they are. Excellent company with outstanding employees.

The two guys that came to install my new air conditioner when the old one went out did a fantastic job they were very friendly and did the job very quick and with extremely good service

I utilized IBBOSTON service two times this year to buy a water heater and humidifier, and they provided excellent service. I feel they don't need a promo. Their service speaks, and I start to refer them. I wish businesses this kind should grow.

I have living in my old home for 11 years and have called Ibbotson year after year for yearly checkups on both the air conditioning and furnace. When the time came I had them replace both. They have always been upfront, honest and dependable. Most companies would have tried to sell us to replace our 30+ year old furnace right away back in 2011, but they never did. They said don’t remember lace until it was time and they would tell me when. They made sure everything was working and only guided us to replace when parts were no longer available for the old ones. They keep up with codes and legislation, pulse of the industry to help customers make the best decisions. Even yesterday I had the AC checkup and the tech noticed I had a 3M filter that was too thick. He told me to change more frequent until these were gone because the type I bought would short out the system on my model of left in too long and decrease the lifespan of the system and told me what to buy for the future. Definitely one of the best companies I have worked.

Had an ac/thermostat issue in May and reached out to Ibbotson, our long time go-to company, for repair visit. They were booked, like most companies at the time—several day wait, so we had to go elsewhere, which we do not like to do. Husband wrote to Ibbotson re: the wait.

Rich from Ibbotson called us immediately. He did not like having an unhappy customer. Rich explained the situation, apologized and insisted on doing something to make it right for us at their expense. Our next annual service call was free.

Many companies would not have even responded to the letter. Too busy and they have a lot of clients. But Ibbotson proved to us that our business is meaningful to them. Rich made us feel appreciated.
It’s great to find a company that cares about its customers and shows it.

Who ever is driving a work van 3126029b on Biesterfield in Elk Grove Village is driving like a maniac, it's unnecessary and could cause an accident.

I only trust this company for my HVAC work. When I bought my house, it had Ibbotson stickers on all HVAC and water tank items. I figured I should try them. What a pleasant surprise! Super professional, on time, extremely high quality installation and service. They charge very reasonable prices and honor warranties. Never once did they try to upsell or charge something extra. Very reputable company which deserves to thrive in this business! Michael C. handled the last repair and needless to say, he was EXCELLENT!
