Lockwood Furnace Company

This was Jeff second visit to our home, and as always he does a great job. He is very polite and explain everything he's doing and willing to answer any questions we may have.

I am definitely rating this company only 2 stars and not 1 Star because they sent someone out as soon as they could. I was over charged! It was over $200 for every 30 minutes! The Tech from what I thought seemed knowledgeable and was positive that what he thought was wrong with my furnace was fixed. He supposedly did everything he could and checked the tubes and outside as well. I ended up paying over $400 and a promise that my furnace would keep working until a warranty part was sent in and I still had to pay for the labor for them to replace it.
IT BROKE DOWN WITHIN 8 HOURS!
I had the people that placed the furnace in my home come in the next day and they fixed it within 20 minutes and it had nothing to do with the furnace but the tubes connected to it! I did not reach out before because I could not find their information at that time.
UNBELIEVABLE!
I will never reach out to Lockwood Furnace Company ever again!! They have a run for your money.

The tech, Jeff, was on time, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. He addressed all of my issues in a timely manner and was very pleasant throughout the whole process.

I did use Lockwood for years. Not anymore though. Always a problem scheduling appointments. Never at the customers convenience. This year I had another company come out for my routine maintenance. Easy scheduling and a much more reasonable price. The owner/technician informed me that the unit installed in my home was actually too big. This stressed out my heat exchanger and now it is cracked and starting to leak low levels of CO2. My furnace is only 8 years old !! A new heat exchanger would be difficult to install in my situation due to close proximity of my water heater and so lack of room to install it. That combined with the high cost of doing that if it was even possible, has forced me to have to pay for a new furnace. NEVER would I use this company again. Not after having to pay for a new unit thats only 8 years old !! And strangely the tech from Lockwood who checked my unit last year told me to make sure I have an up to date CO2 detector. Which was never mentioned on previous .maintenance checks. Makes me wonder what was going on with the heat exchanger last year !! And when they installed the unit 8 Yeats ago, they told me the previous company installed a unit too big for my home.Then did the same thing themselves. Go figure. Some techs they sent out over the years seemed ok. Others not. Had to give 1 star to post.

Love, love, love Matthew Radich. He's always prompt, professional and curteous. He's a great technician!!! Definitely a keeper. Always specifically request him.

I bought my home in Kendall Ridge about 20 years ago and have dealt with Lockwood since then I have used them for semi-annual maintenance and any needed repair work and my AC and furnace have lasted 19 years. I have recently chosen to have Lockwood replace my AC and Furnace and I Confident they will do the same great job for me. I am a huge supporter of local business and Lockwood is a great one. Very highly recommended by a very loyal and supportive customer.
